Re: 10/11 Blackie AMPS 254

How about a green? Going to be another one of THOSE days. LOL I think I know what happened, though. When I gave her the shot this a.m., I noticed that the plunger inside the barrel went beyond the first mark next to the needle when I injected the insulin. I DID measure precisely 4.50u, however, I also noticed that each syringe is different... Sometimes the plunger is level with the very first mark next to the needle, and sometimes its closer to the needle (if that makes sense). Take a few syringes and check where the plunger is inside the barrel. I'm sure that you'll see what I mean.

Next test @ +3.5, or +4.

I need to make sure that she's not going to drop any further than this. You know... As much as I need a job right now, it's days like today that I'm glad I don't work.

+3.5 = 77 (using TrueTrack meter); 78 (using Maxima meter).

Either food spike as I had given her 2 tsps. of FF T&G, plus 5 boiled turkey pieces, and/or lightning/thunder influenced. We have storms in the area right now.

+4 68

Gave her 5 more boiled turkey bites. Thankfully, she's not dropping too much this a.m. Will keep tabs on her, and have E kit ready just in case.

I guess this bean will be losing more weight by not eating HER breffis. LOL I'm hungry.

I wouldn't necessarily say this is an upswing. So far, Blackie has been surfing in the same range since +3. Remember, there's about 10 - 20% variance in each test. A 68 and a 79 are pretty much the same number. Regardless, beautiful surf!!

I don't have the issue you described with my syringes. If you don't have consistency in your syringes, I'd contact the manufacturer. These are defective syringes. Get them replaced -- this could be dangerous. FWIW, I use Hock's brand of syringe, the GNP syringes. They run about $15 for a box and Hocks delivers quickly.
