Good Morning LL,

Well it seems the dose is working...we're very green this morning. So given Attie's propensity to zoom I would usually feed and shoot a BCS.....but he has decided this morning it is a fud fit morning!!!! We've tried rabbit, gravied rabbit, beef w/au jus, beef with gravy and au jus, beef heated up in microwave, beef with kibble sprinkles on top.... So...for the first time in a very long time, nearly a year, we're stalling. Not so much I guess because of his low BG as most of you know I'll shoot into a low, but because we have an appetite issue. Both my neighobor's serve up FF for their cats and I may go borrow a can of inspiration or tap the pantry here for some tuna in a bit. I am thinking of just being cool on this for an hour and see if he doesn't get inspired on his own. I don't need to flare his IBD, but I am not shooting if he is this low and not eating.


Which in the grand scheme of my schedule may not be a bad thing either. I have Bella who gets shots on the sixes too starting Wednesday evening. I can't be in two places at once. So Attie being able to shift to sevens...unexpectedly as it is...may work out long-term.

I always get the time shift thing messed up...so if I leave him on the sevens after today, until the time change....can I just start back on the sixes the Sunday of the shift?

I hope Attie gets over his food strike soon enough to shoot. Maybe he is just adjusting his schedule for your convenience. Oh yeah, like kitties ever do that!

I always get confused with the time change, too, but I think you are correct.
When it's nice and quiet and relaxed, hopefully he'll get up and go eat his fud.

:thumbup Breffis #1 has been eaten! Finally. So we delayed and skinnied up the dose too....I have one more pet sit on the schedule today than yesterdays busy schedule....but it swings me by home just about +5. So we'll be monitoring until +3, stop for a +5 and be back by....+7 for an hour lunch. Then off for 3 more sits.

Yes, I actually keep a written schedule...

Last week I did completely forget one dog....and she was there on my written schedule plain as day....came home at lunch and was getting ready to go back out, reviewed the schedule and.... ohmygod_smile . Thank goodness is was just by an hour, but still I have to watch closely.

ahhhhhh.... Attie has runny rancid poo....the IBD is back. :sad:

Hi guys .. love the green this morning! Not loving the lack of appy or the runny and rancid poo :sad: I hope that attie starts feeling better soon .. As far as the time change goes, can't help you out much there .. We always did it totally back wards ohmygod_smile have a great day guys!
 
Inspite of the rough start this morning Attie surfed the day away in the greens....

So we're on the delay and the BCS. I expect higher numbers here for the evening.

We also broke down and went and got him some Taste of the Wild Salmon. He has had half a can with mucho gusto...so the other half we'll mix in his rabbit. He stubbornly refused the beef all day. :roll:

I tried getting the carbs on the TOW from the company, but they stubbornly wanted me to call their vet and the email had the same "old" school diabetes jargon....

I am hoping since we're doing fish...that like most fish for cats it tends to be low carb. Tonight...I'm just happy he is eating it.

We go see the vet tomorrow afternoon for that broken canine tooth and his runny poo issue. I think the runny poo though may be a side effect from the huge kibble the other day. Paws crossed they are not related.
