Colorful day & Mouse Farewell

Good morning LL. MamaLizBean had an early appointment so night duty bean has the morning condo. Zener had another all day bounce followed by an all night slight but not quite so dramatic this morning. Appy was happy, but no yard patrol because...... it's snowing! :shock:

We bid a sad farewell to the house mouse last night at the paddy paws of Tillie, who is recovering nicely from her "expressive" procedure and UTI. You can read the sad mouse tale (or perhaps tail is better?) in yesterday's condo. Though we are glad to have mouse out of the house, we were so hoping to trap and release him back to his wood pile.

Thanks Ella & Rusty for the candy corn tip - we have more live traps just in case we get more visitors and candy corn is what we will use for bait next time.

Wishing all a happy Fursday, sending visions of blue and green to our kitties in space and sending heaps of appy vines to Jamie's Jupiter, Lyressa's KT and Marje's gentleman cat Gus.

I see rain in our forecast. I'll take that too.

Nice blue crawl so far. Hope Zener slides a little and has a good run today.

Just think what an ego boost Tillie has .... mighty hunteress....

Hi Anne. Zener is enjoying a nice surf in the blue zone today. Hope he continues the nice numbers tonight. I bet Tillie is feeling 10 feet tall!

I always regret it when one of the little rodents gets dispatched. But cats are cats. Tillie, you are a mouser extraordinaire!

Goodness...I step away from FDMB for a few days and look at what I miss...the feline execution of the house mouse, snow, and Tillie's vetty visit. Other than the mouse, I'm glad that everything else is going well and that Tillie is doing better. I see some really nice blues for Zener earlier today. Let's get back there. Ok, Zener!? Hope you all have a lovely, warm evening.

Hope Zener clears the bounce soon.

On the mouse...as mike would say "hakuna matada". Don't ask me why he would say that :lol: :lol: but he would.

I heard it was going to snow. It was in the 70s here today and is so cold tonight....high 40s...brrrrrrr!

Thanks to all for the visits today, we laughed so much about mouse tails, um tales. We are getting tired of this bounce. Not too sure about increasing yet especially since I, the night duty bean, leave on Sunday for a week in Birmingham Alabama working at a wheelchair sports event and MamaLizBean will be the sole BIC.
