Well I definitely liked yesterday's AMBG much better than today's, but Ms P kicked it into gear again. Like every other bean here, I sure wish I knew what makes this kitty tick! Appy is happy, kitty is snuggly. So sign of zoomies yet today, though....it's fun to see the zoomies, but she never was a big/frequent zoomer to begin with. Nowadays, it REALLY catches me off guard when she's in that kind of mood!

All is quiet so far on the family front...I think. The other day, my Dad e-mailed out a copy of the homily from daily mass about conflict that was relevant to my family's situation. Of course none of the relevant parties responded. Argh. Rather than fully get in the middle, I suggested my Dad resend the e-mail and explain why he felt it was important to him...however, I did have to make this suggestion via e-mail because I was at work, and i haven't had a chance to actually talk to him about it. I know I cannot get involved from my brother's end again, but I can help guide my Dad, since he is actually reaching out and asking for advice. At the same time, though, I think this chemo cycle's fatigue crash is starting, so it's not the ideal time to get involved in a deep discussion.

Families....

I'm off today....lots of chores and condo visiting to catch up on. Still thinking of Anne, Liz, and Tillie....and feeling Zener's warmth. Have a great day, LL!

Aren't families just WONDRFUL sometimes??!?! :roll:

It is so difficult to feel like you have to be in the middle of everything, not a fun place to be!

And Ms. Trix?!?!? A 191??!?! Really, do you need to give mommabean a heart attack like that? Ya know, if you just STARTED with the 7, you probably wouldn't have gotten another pokie....

Glad her numbers did come down.....

Trix and Zen...always so cute, cozy, and snuggly. She snuggles with everyone, but Zen loves to snuggle as much as she does, so most of the time, this is the "long term" scene for the day:

What an adorable picture!!! I'm so happy that Trix had the zoomies yesterday, her BP is good, her weight is up a bit. Thst is an accomplishment with a CKD kitty! And she brought herself down very nicely today!! :-D

Sending prayers for your dad esp with all the family drama. I read back about your brother and it's very sad that he can't just get over "it" (whatever it seems to be) and not waste precious time. Bless your dad for reaching out. I hope this last round of chemo will not make him feel so bad.

Ohmygosh! What a cute snuggle pic! I wish mine did that. Well, one wants to but Neko does not. :roll: On the bonus side, sometimes I get a civie spooning in bed.

Very nice action on Ms. P today, just wish she'd start the day a little lower. I guess she really does feel the dawn phenomenon.

Sorry about the family interactions. It's our Thanksgiving this weekend. That's another "celebration" get together that isn't always full of thanks. :roll:
 
Wonderful picture! I do so love snuggling kitties. I haven't had any that snuggle with each other since Kisa crossed. He and Minka used to do that a lot. :sad: :YMSIGH: But at least I have a kitty that snuggles with me! My dear little Sasha. :-D

Trixie, remember what I told you about starting high? Why put yourself (and Ms. P) to all that work when you could start lower and have much less distance to come down?! Silly kitty.

It's nice to see your DF reaching out. I am sending many vines toward your brother to take that olive branch and try to work things out.

I love that pic Amy! I sooo wish my kitties would snuggle together, but Im lucky to keep them from scratching and hissing at each other..no love between them. My problem is I have a 5 year old youngster thats full of mischief and the 2 old girls dont wanna play/participate, thus the hissing and growling. Chi Chi is just so mellow, she just walks away from the drama.

I can also relate to your family drama too. I feel your frustration when you speak of it, its so sad that your Dad is caught in the middle too. Im sending prayers for all of you to have some peace during this difficult time . On a brighter note..Trixie came down from that not so good amps to a nice green for you. Nice that her appy is good and she is zoomin around a bit. Have a good weekend!

Family drama is bad enough...but being in the middle is definitely no fun and so stressful on you. Hope things improve and can work out. Will keep your Dad In my thoughts and prayers. Hope you have a fantastic weekend!
