Tiger had a recent insulin decrease (4 days ago.) When I took his BG and got 96 today I had thought to check because I noticed him showing a behavior when he's not feeling great (hiding in a certain spot in my home.) I was surprised to see the 96. With such a large swing from AMPS to 96 to PMPS I am wondering if I missed a below 90 bg and should consider decreasing to 3.5u of lantus just to be on the safe side with his acromegaly. I have also noticed his purring is not as loud recently. I will be checking him more often this evening for sure.

Could you put the date you started cabergoline in your signature. It can be an important factor impacting dosing,

Another possible factor for causing a bounce is a big drop. However, it does seem like his nadir timing was about the normal time today. We don't normally reduce based on what might have happened. It's nice to see he's starting to see a bit of green again.
 
Started carbergoline 6/14/25. I think I’ve put it in my signature now. Seems ok tonight but of course I think I gave a bit of a fur shot!
