Good Morning LL! Tess continues to eat for her preshot meals and from her attitude while I'm getting the fuds ready I don't think she really needs the Pepcid then, it seems to be long enough after the Clavamox that her appy is back. We'll try without the Pepcid tonight. If she doesn't need it then we'll try it for the +3 meal, maybe we can avoid syringes then too! :-D :-D Last night she was definitely not happy about it.

WCR All 5 Ps, Clean Plate Club Whooooo Hoooo!!! She's been much more playful than usual and has rediscoverd "The Joy of Nanners"!

Hi guys ... just getting caught up on condo's .. so sorry to hear tess is not feeling well! It sounds like the meds are already making her feel better .. hopefully no syringes are needed! Yay for nanners! Have a great day guys!

Good to hear she's eating on her own and you don't have to syringe feed her. She must be feeling better! :-D

With a little encouragement Tess ate at +3 also! :-D :-D :-D :-D soooo hoping that this means no more ….. nope, not gonna say it! :roll:

They said there was a chance today, but inland, so of course I had stuff out that needed to get under cover! :roll: But if i was ready for rain it probably would not have happened! :lol: :lol:

For anyone interested I made up a couple of SS on the new food lists. First I translated the lis back into SS form (let me know if you want it) and the took out everything over 10%carbs and 1% phos for a more manageable list.

I also made a SS which adds up and recalculates the Carb% , Phos mg/100kcal, and calories / ounce. If you download it you can remove any foods I'm using put in your own. I have it on Tess's SS as a tab but you can't edit it there. Simply enter food 1 w/ it's carbs Phos and kcal/oz and the percentage of the mix you want it to be. Do the same for Food 2. As soon as you enter all the data you get the calculation for the mix, you can then play around adjusting the percentages to get to where you want. i hope it works for you, I'm on a Mac and had to export it to Excel format. If the formulas didn't export properly, they are in row 2. Just copy them and type = and paste the formula in the cell where you want the result.

EDTI: Lisa caught an error in one calculation, % carbs in mixes will actually be a little lower. I removed this attachment and will put a new one up in the 10/11 condo.

Come on down Tess! I'm glad she is eating. T was on the liquid clavamox. He doesn't do liquids well, or pills for that matter. :roll: Syringe feeding is also out of the question. yay for rain!!! We have paws crossed Ms Tess keeps that appy going. We understand completely how stressful poor appy is for our kitties! Zener is hanging with Ms T today in the yellows.

Hi Ann, love the little rain man, If you're getting rain, we're next! :-D So glad Tess is doing as well as she is with all things considered. You've done great with getting ahead of things before they got worse with the syringe feeding and Pepcid. Tess, lucky kitty to have such a good Bean.

I answered your question on why I'm not using the raw in my condo. I was afraid with the Megacolon issues, Mags would have a bm less with the raw. You had mentioned one time that with the raw, they have a bm less often. Of course, I could always mix it with one of the fuds, too. Mags did like the chicken medallions, as I remember. Thanks on that ss link.

Ann is at her ceramics class, so DH is BIC this afternoon. Nice low yellow number at +6, and Tess ate about half her third meal. I'd call that good, since its only about a quarter ounce left, and she may eat it later, like right before the +11 test :lol: :lol: . She is definitely perkier today, but now nap time. So far rain has just been enough to get the patio and sidewalks wet, but not much in the rain gauge. :mrgreen: John

Ok Tess, back down from the pinks, ok? Wow Anne, you typed in all of Dr. Lisa's list? I'm impressed - thanks! I typed in some of the foods we are using, but not all of them. I figured when we tried a new food I would add it. Thanks!

So happy to see that Tess ate so much better today. Thanks for the food lists, Ann. I'm on a Mac, too, but the downloads just came out as gibberish. I'll try fiddling with them tomorrow to see if I can make sense out of them.

I'm sorry I've missed so much going on in your house. I hope Tess continues to I prove and do great with the clavamox. Great idea to give it an hour after she ate. I'm glad she is playing!

I've been thinking of your mom since you said your sister moved her. I hope it won't take her too long to adjust. It's good you can spend time with her.

I am excited to see the plates :-D :-D
