Good morning LL!

Tarragon was in chase mode this morning. I think he thought he was going to get more clavamox and tramadol. Once we finally caught him, he seemed relaxed after we gave him his poke, shot and a squirt of bupe. He ate a lot of his overnight food and was eating when I left.

Busy busy busy day at tbp. I will have to get to condos tonight. Have a great day all!!

Feisty is a good thing! I hear tramadol is horribly bitter tasting and kitties will foam at the mouth with it, i bet Tarragon is happy to be on bupe. Does you bupe come salmon flavored too? Very nice AMPS today, surf safely today Tarragon.

I hope tbp isn't too brutal today. What did you get for your birthday?

Tracy - Tarragon did foam at the mouth with the Tramadol. My fingers are all cut up from trying to pill him with it. The bupe is pretty much tasteless. Our vet said that really the goal is not to get them to swallow it but for it to soak into their gums so they don't flavor it. It is just a little syringe the size of his insulin syringe without the needle. I just slip it in the side of his mouth. Easy peasy compared to the Clavamox and the Tramadol. I don't know why they didn't give him a covenia shot to begin with. Arghhh.

I got new pjs, new workout outfit, roses and candy from DH. Mason went to Bath & Body and got me some Sweat Pea lotion, body spray, and body butter. My favorite stuff. :-D

Melissa, so nice to get a good report on Tarragon. Sounds like he will have a relaxing day, and you can rest a little easier. Hope tbp isn't too stressful.

AWESOME amps this AM. It is equally as good to read about running and chasing... how surprised he must ave been with no clav. Mighty nice heh Mr T?

I ended up doing the convenia shot with Mannie last go around too, with an infection, if only becasue he wasn't eating, felt awful, and I know the clav would have been an issue. There are issues with convenia in general, but sometimes it can be the best alternative if a kitty has issues with clav. I a sure Mr T is so relived he is not getting those meds in general, Bupe is so easy isn't it?

Hi guys, haven't been able to keep up with condos lately so happy belated birthday from us! Also very happy to hear that tarragon is feeling much better and has ditched the cone .. beautiful start to the day! Have a great day guys!

Hope work isn't too stressful.

Sounds like a nice amount of bday gifts, especially DH. ( not all can manage more than 1 :lol: )

H Melissa - I'm glad to hear that Tarragon is feeling better, and sorry that he has to go through so much. Happy belated birthday - it sounds like you got nice stuff! I hope you guys have a nice relaxing day and the greenies continue.

Wow sounds like you did get spoiled for your birthday! Convenia does sound like a good choice for Tarragon, Leo has used it before his fd dx and did fine on it, pilling is just horrible (for Leo and i) even giving bupe i have a hard time.

Hope you have a great night. My day at TBP was awful too. Thank God for family and sweet kitties to brighten our days when we get home.

Quick question. Was T getting the Clav as pills or liquid? I've found Tess does much better on the liquid, (no pukus) and it is a lot easier to give! I don't know why they give us pills for cats as it is so darned *#$@%#!!! impossible to pill a cat.

Great report on Mr. T. I'm glad to see he is running and eating his fuds. He must be feeling a lot better. Yeah! Great #'s too. :-D

That's wonderful that Tarragon is feeling better and eating now. I forgot to wish you a happy birthday yesterday. So happy belated birthday.
