Good morning LL! Just a quick update on Spike. October is his birthday month...hes 16 years old, yeah! Hes been 4 years diabetic and is doing great. He just went for his yearly senior wellness checkup and all bloodwork was the same or a bit better than last year. His vet had no real concerns. He does need another dental but that will have to wait until January when they run a special. ($400+) He does have some artritus and the vet and I talked about me giving adequan shots and she was onboard with that. I was relieved to know there was nothing going on with him that I didnt know about. For now hes enjoying lazy indian summer days laying on the rocking chair on his porch and wishing it would never end (like his bean).

I was also thinking of Aedquan for Moonie, but I am a little crazy about rocking her boat..Maybe we'll try one shot?

Thanks for posting about Spike and happy birthday to the Spikester! It gives us with kitties who are recently diagnosed some hope that life for our kitties can be full of warm, lazy and happy days again! :-D
