WARNING: The next WCR you are about to read contains a poop story and more facts that you may not want to know.

What an interesting and eventful night last night!
Savannah went to use her LB and a few moments later we heard all this crazy scurrying. When I put the light on she was scooting across the floor! And to our surprise there were a few poopies stuck to her butt!! We then had to chase around the second floor to get it off of her. While I was on "clean up control" my DH also cleaned to floor, which had a perfect semicircle on it. Maybe it was her own interpretation of a Jackson Pollack. Needless to say, Savannah did not like getting her bum cleaned and I also did not like having to do it.
Here's another disgusting fact- it looked like two little poops were stuck together by a piece of my hair, which means she's been eating my hair off of the floor!!!!
I want to vomit just thinking about it.

Savannah is having a wonderful start to her morning and is denying any fact of poopies being stuck to her butt.

Well, of course I kept reading after you warning! :lol: Amazing that you saw your own hair...I have seen their hair from grooming in their poops. Well, they are no dummies...trying to get it off themselves in the only way they know how. Aren't you glad you were there to assist her? :lol: I would hate to think of where she would have gone to get it off...the floor was easier to clean up than a rug, no? EEWwuuuu.
I was looking at your SS and wondering if you give Savannah a snack at night at all....
When Raja's numbers were blue at preshot time, I experimented with snacks first at +9 and then at +8. I found that the 4 hours brought her to a much lower number afterward. It seems that
Savannah gets a good drip after the 4 hours too.
It was back when Raja was starting her second OTJ trial that I began to set my alarm for +8. I do it at +7 now in the PM cycle. And +8 in the AM cycle. (because I am totally crazy..getting up at that hour in the morning..but I don't work, so it isn't so bad for me personally) That snack at that time brought her into the green preshots. Do you have a timed feeder?

well of course I kept reading too. :lol: :lol: One has to love cats - mine have done that too. omg. and the bum cleaning? I too unfortunately have to do that with Mannie. He's along hair, and far too often he misses a few spots or there are cling-ons. ugh.

Agreed to on what Pat wrote about the +8/+9 snack. it has made a difference with Mannie too - much lower ps numebrs than when he wasn't getting one.

I failed to specify that is was actually the rug :sad: good thing for spot cleaner

I haven't ever tried a timed feeder or giving her a snack around +8. We let her free feed. I think I may try it today as an experiment. Although I'm thinking I gave her a pretty skinny .25 by accident, so hopefully she is not much higher than normal. I also gave her deli turkey around +6... I felt like I had to treat her after last night's ordeal.

:lol: That happens around here, too, with both the kitties and the drooler. (well, the drooler's incidents are outside, but the hair thing, yeah) It's that darned long hair I have - gets everywhere!
