One year ago today my world was rocked when Monet was diagnosed with Diabetes. I was sad, confused, mad, depressed etc. when I was given the news. Both Monet's and my saving grace came a few days later when I discovered FDMB and all of you truly AMAZING people !
Like I've said many times before, without the advice from you, I don't think Monet would not have made it. For you newbies - he was being overdosed with the amount of Lantus our Vet was telling us to give him and all of this without knowing about the home testing option.
With joining the Tight Regulation Lantus Group and quickly learning to trust the advise from you guys, we were able to get Monet in remission last November. You guys were always there day or night with support and advice. I continue to test him weekly and his numbers are staying in the greens !
I do not want to take too much of anyone's time since I know all of you have your hands full with your own babies and helping others on this board that are coming for advice . . . but Monet and I both did not want this day to pass without saying a BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU !
My daily prayer is that all of your sweet kitties can get OTJ.
