Hi all,

Sad numbers this morning, when i saw the numbers i new that yesterday amps was not a fur shot. It is just like yesterday even higher but flat.

Big difference between first and second sycle, my kitty is driving me crazy :(. I was happy yesterday after the greens but she decided not.

I do not know what is happining, so will switch to humen meter from tomorrow and hope tomorrow is better day.
 
Well, if nothing else, the human meter should give you slightly lower numbers ;) !

Don't worry-- she's doing fine. It can be tricky at these tiny doses. MeMe's pancreas is able to do a lot of the job, but it is still healing and doesn't always do the same thing every day. Just keep doing what you are doing, giving that little bit of insulin support to help the process. She'll get there!

I saw on Amber's SS that you use 0.05 dose, this is alittle bit lower than 0.1, how you mesure it on the syringe. I was thinking in dose in between a drop and 0.1 if she get higher but pray not to.
 
0.05 is just what I called the "drop" dose.

Have you tried counting how many drops are in the 0.1 dose? If it's more than two, maybe you could find an intermediate dose that way. For example, if you get three drops in your 0.1, you could draw up 0.1 and then push out one drop to leave two in the syringe. (It's actually been a while since I've drawn up a lantus dose myself, so I'm not really sure how many drops one might expect)
 
I did some test, when i reach 0.1 i pish one more drop out so i end with two drops. I t will not be actual but sibce 0.1 drop her to fast i think this will be more safe.

Will se how she is doing on drop dose a few more days.
 
If i switched to humen meter do i have to start a new sheet!! Because numbers are different
 
She dropped 70pts in one hour last night which likely triggered a wee bounce. Lets see what her numbers look like on a human meter for a few days before increasing the dose. That 71 last night, once again is very close to the reduction point on AT and leaves you little room for an increase. Don't despair, she's close...needs a little more time. Hope you got some good sleep tonight.

I see you made a note on the SS about switching to the human meter. Also make a note in your signature. Eventually someone will help convert the SS. Most important is to remember the reduction point is now under 50 instead of under 68.

:( Saw your post late today am was too high on alpha track i gave her 0.1

I mintion you on the new post.

I did not realize that it has been only one day since she dropped to 71.
