What a nice recovery day yesterday for Mannie. He seems to have taken a gentle slow slide down from the red and pink floor the day before. We started out yellow yesterday morning, wound up with a nice blue surf through most of the evening. Way to go Mannie - well done!!! cat_pet_icon Paws crossed for a good day today.

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D The kitty choir performed flawlessly this morning - ear piercing bellows :o , claws to the shoulder :shock: , wet noses to the face :roll: - it was non stop until I got up. No rest for this bean! :lol: :lol: Even Mannie showed up. impressed! That meant time away from the nanner pile. This morning's whack-a-thon as once again over the water dish... shesshh! Whack Whack Whack - water flying everywhere. :roll: :roll: :roll: Bj and Elsa - the queens of the whack-a-thons. They must have been impatient, waiting for me to finish with Mannie's test, waiting for their fuds - which in their opinion was late, very late. Late = whacks. Silly furkids! They all eventually got their fuds. Breffis was consumed with gusto, clean plate club status still intact. I wonder what would happen if he ever did not finish a meal... not likely. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: It is such a wet dreary morning here, still dark, rains everywhere. In honor of such a fine morning all the furkids have gone off to nap. Smart kitties! yep.... normalcy in MannieLand.

I am back on DGS duty this week - all week. YAY! A full week of Nicholas. I know I won't be bale to visit condos - I am sorry about that. Do know though that I am thinking of you all. THINK GREEN KITTIES!

Hey everybody!! What's up? It is so cold and wet and DARK here this morning,... What is up with that? I need sun - maybe Tess has some and we can go dunes sliding... or maybe a beach... or maybe we could go on a kitty hike someplace.... or maybe we could hang out on Rusty's porches...? We need a plan! And we need to plan out full moon party - it's Tuesday!! I am ready for anything - what'd'ya guys wanna do? ~~ Mannie

Hi Michelle, I always enjoy hearing about the morning routine of Mannie, Elsa and BJ. Glad they performed their choir ensemble for Monday and how funny with the whacking and water flying! I hope the weather breaks for you and DGS to do something fun outdoors, and it looks like Mannie is surfing the blues, too, so have fun at another adventure.

Hi Mannie, yes dunes sliding or the beach sure sounds like fun today and maybe a barbecue later. Is there a full moon on Tuesday? See ya soon.

Thanks everybody for visiting Mannie while I cared for my DGS. It's been a busy day today - a wet rainy and windy one too. Nasty Weather! DGS and I braved the elements and went to a city park anyways. We did OK. rains weren't too bad, and I think he had a good time.

Forgive the shortness of my update - Just too many things to take care of...

Thanks Linda, Lisa, Roni, Barb (great to hear from you!!), Angela, Ann, Christie, Devon, Patty, Tracy, Melissa, and Ann for posting - it is much appreciated. I wish I could answer you all.... Things are pretty normal here for an evening too. Mannie seems to have behaved himself, not done any diving or bouncing - what a good boy!

Ok everybody - my bean finally let me have the 'puter! sheshhhh..... so off to the dunes. Tess says that she thinks it is dry! YAY!!! and we can plan for the full moon party on tuesday. We gots to go and get Checkers though cuz he misses us!! ~~ Mannie

Glad to see Mannie in blue all day....perhaps it is the color of the day and he's already started to the color most desired!! What is a day in Mannieland without the alarm clocks and the whackathons....boy I'd love to see a video!!

Also happy you had such a nice day with Nicholas despite the weather.

Mannie.....Tobes and me are getting ready for the Harvest Moon Party. I have been working on a new recipe for Caramel-Appletinis for tomorrow night!! With Bailey's!!! FD friendly of course. Tobey is hoping Aunt Ellabean will make lots of wonderful cinnamon things for the party. Do you think we'll see the GAs through the veil....or is that at Halloween only???

Hey Gracie - YAY - got the beverage - on the menu!! That sounds really good! I hope so too on the cinnamon cakes - that would be so great... I know we will see the GA's - they will be there - up on the cloulds, they come to all the full moon parties. The Halloween veil though is the special one!! We can touch then - the veil is the thinnest on Halloween, and is a very special night. Rusty and I have planned to have a special GA remembrance then. It will be so good! ~~ Mannie

Hey Mannie, I'm a little late because my beans were out ALL DAY! And they missed all my good numbers (well, not all). YES: full moon Hunters' Moon party tomorrow night in my barn. The deer are all here, so they'll be safe from the hunters. We can invite them in if we want to! Neat that Checkers will come. See you tomorrow.
