It's been an interesting past few days with some high numbers, vet visit and waking up to a low AMPS.




Allison,Lucky,male,8-9,diagnosed 7/18,Lantus,started TR on 9/11,relion prime,wet food,eats throughout day,healthy weight, no other health issues.

Yes, I'm comfortable shooting. He was lower yesterday AMPS and went high during the day. He may be on that trend for today.

I’d feed a little lc and get another test in an hour. He’s on the move. Just add each test and don’t remove them until PMPS.

Yup! Had horses in the past and had plenty of potential life threatening issues. Thanks for holding my hand so to speak. I appreciate it!

No food and test in an hour. Then good to stop unless a drop. Then it’s feed and retest. Nice flat cycle as expected when you shoot low.

I’d still not feed and test again but if you gave a little lc that was fine too. Beautiful cycle!

He had a snack at +6 when he was at 71. The Vet wanted me to discard his 3 mos. old pen because his numbers were reading higher. Glad I didn't listen and upped his dose instead.

My pens lasted to the last drop. My vial lasted about 6 months. Good thing you didn’t discard it.
