10/10 Luci AMPS 57 - Food question

Hi Sue. I’ve never heard of it. Chewy doesn’t even sell it so I’d be suspicious. Nice amps.

1.49 a can I'm suspicious that it's too expensive!

I picked up a couple of cans at Kroger today - because the ingredients were very simple. I like it when my own foods have few ingredients - not a lot of chemicals and not a lot of words that I cannot understand...or would need a degree in chemistry to understand.

I did open a can of the tuna today and I swear it looks/smells like human tuna...I think with the price being what it is, that it may be something to use more as a treat than as a mainstay...it's really price prohibitive for as much as Luci eats...

It says it is NOT a complete diet (as stated in can). It doesn't have the nutrients cats require. For a treat it would be okay.

Here what I read.

" Histamine-rich fish can potentially cause an allergic reaction. Fish is considered to be one of the most allergy-inducing food sources around. What about toxins? Fish swim in polluted rivers and oceans, lot of evidence suggests they pick up serious toxins. PCBs and pesticides are two big concerns. Many species of fish have a serious problem with heavy metal contamination. Some fish are contaminated with metals like mercury. You probably shouldn’t feed it to your cat. "
