I'm needing to give some medication to Jude that he's not fond of. I know I've seen people mention this before on here, but remind me: are Churus okay/low carb??

I'll let you know! I just gave one to Lu, and give her half of one fairly often.

With her medication, I wrap it up in pate, and she loves it.

So I'd say for Lu, anyway, Churu doesn't bump her up, or at least the teaspoon she gets doesn't.

Respecting Every Cat is Different, there are treats that aren't zero carbs that her BG#s tolerate well. Churu is one of them, but another that surprised me is Feline Greenies, the catnip flavour. It might be possible that there are medium-ish little mouthfulls that don't cause spikes, but ECID forever & always!

Can confirm Churu are low carb. I don't recall the exact percentage, but I did run the calculation after someone at work asked if they could offer one to Roxi. They were well below 10% calories from carbs - if you need more exact than that, I'm sure I can run the numbers again.
