Haven't posted for a week due to internet service down.
Jessica has experienced up and down on the BG level. I try to figure out the correct dosage for her.
Look like 6 to 6.25 is the correct dose.
Find something useful to share with others on how to prevent insulin from coming right out after injection.

"Some members choose to "tent" the skin to shoot. They raise the fur to form a "tent" and then shoot into the base of the tent."
Before you release the skin, pull out the needle and use one of your finger slightly press on the spot of injection area for around 30 seconds, then release the skin.
By doing that, you eliminate the chance of insulin spills out right after the shot.
Worth to try.

Have a nice day.

Hi Frankie--

I haven't been on for a while also...due to pursuit of putting deer in our freezer, and a few other things here...

I note that on 9/30 you noted on your SS " Stool back to normal. It found out Jessica can't digest chicken that cause the diarrea". That's good that you've found out about the chicken . I also note that there are less and less red numbers--totally awesome!!! I hope all is well with Jessica and her bowel movements are normal.

Thanks, Kat.
Jessica feels much better now. She is more energetic and her hair more shinny. It was so dull and rough after she got diabetic a few months ago.
She is more responsive and I can look at her eye and know that she's feeling better.
One thing still, she's very hungry after I only feed her FF can food without chicken beast. (Chicken makes her diarrhea)
She drank and pee less and her stool back to normal.

Thank you all for all your valuable advices.

Frankie --

FWIW, when I shoot, I keep the plunger on the syringe depressed and leave the needle in for several seconds before I remove the needle. In other words, I don't just poke, depress the plunger, and immediately withdraw the syringe.
