Furball was happy & purry this morning. I am going to stick with the 1.25 units for now since I don't feel comfortable trying to measure a dose between 1.25 and 1.5 units. If she needs a dose increase by the end of the week, I will give one to her on the weekend when I can be home and keep a closer eye on her.

And I'm facing the same thing - dosecrease and work mix like oil and water. Ugh!

Good idea to wait until you can monitor before increasing again (if needs be). In respect of trying to measure the in between doses. A good idea is to have a sample syringe handy. Use cold tea or water with food coloring and keep trying until you have the dose you want then put that syringe aside and compare it to what you draw for the dose to ensure consistency :smile:

hmm. I thought I posted here today already. Where'd it go?

Calipers sure help with those in betweens and low doses.
I couldn't do what I'm doing without them.

You just have to practice and pick that spot and keep repeating it.
Hope Furball comes down today.

Hi guys .. Well I hope that the extra bit of juice you give to furball over the weekend brings her down to some pretty numbers .. measuring those in between doses sure can be tricky .. have a great day!

We're at 1.25 right now too, and we think even the difference between that and 1 is hard to measure out. It looks like only 1 baby drop, yet when we give Charlie 1 unit, her numbers stay too high. When we give her 1.25, she's sometimes skating a fine line along the edge when we're at work. It's tough.

Its hard waiting for the weekend to make the dose changes, but you have got to do what is best for you both. Sounds like a wise decision, especially since it will give you peace of mind to be able to be home and monitor furball.

Woo Hoo! It's great to see a blue PMPS. Furball was happy, purry & playful this evening. I was petting her and stopped to pet another of my cats. When I looked back at Furball she looked so irked because she wasn't getting all of the attention. :lol:
