Good morning everyone :bighug: Elmo is feeling chipper and eating well but gums are inflamed. Finally found a local vet to come tomorrow and get ABs ,both for this current situation and to pulse monthly. Due to kidneys, thyroid, age he has been diagnosed unable to withstand cleaning so antibiotics are our recourse. So grateful for this vet who usually only makes large animal calls to come see Elmo. Quite a blessing ❤️ Sending prayers and hugs to anyone/kitty in need :bighug:

I'm glad you found a vet that will come to your home. I hope the ABs help get rid of the inflammation quickly. I'm glad Elmo is still eating and feeling good. Sending prayers. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks Bobbie ...have known him for years but since he is so often out on farm calls I've not taken our cats/dogs to him cos hard to get in . It's the blessing of living in a small town and knowing each other pretty well . I will have to keep this on the DL so other people don't hear dB it ....very blessed :bighug:

Thanks, Carla :bighug: Vet is someone we have gotten to know over the years...it’s where I know I can go in and get most anything but drugs just by asking. It’s where I get food and SQ fluids . I’m sure he doesn’t want me telling around town that he’s doing this for us so I shall keep my lip zipped :) Such a blessing and weight off my mind/heart ....will not put Elmo in a car unless I absolutely have to .

Oh Beth you are so lucky to have that Dr. come to your home! Tell him we think he's great and kudos to him for coming to help our precious Elmo. :bighug:
