Oh First all healing hugs and prayersSo... picking up on today's condo instead of yesterdays. Pamela, the doc has prescribed me an Albuterol inhaler for bronchitis. I just can't get the darn thing to spray. I already took it back to CVS this morning and they gave me a new one and I'm having the same problem. I followed all of the directions. Before the first use, I shook it and then sprayed it (into the sink). I could see a good puff of the medication come out on that first priming pump. The directions say to repeat this process for a total of four times. On the second time that I shook and sprayed it to keep priming it .... absolutely no medication came out. I could see that because I was in a well-lit bathroom and could see that nothing came out. I kept trying to repeat this shaking/spraying procedure to do the four priming pumps and NOTHING. I am so frustrated. I don't know what I could be doing wrong! Do you have any ideas, dear Pamela?

and YES my Albuterol Inhaler does that to me all the time

Albuterol is usually considered a rescue inhaler when you are having a bad attack and can not breath Why did your Doctor not put you on FLOVENT instead for inflammation?? Just wondering

THank you AdrienneHello Pamela, Amethyst and JoJo. Have a safe and happy Sunday. Prayer for good health for all of you.

Yes. I don’t really get that. This is a bronchodilator and it seems to me that Flovent would be more appropriate. I just need it to calm my coughing.Oh First all healing hugs and prayersand YES my Albuterol Inhaler does that to me all the time
I do not know why
I just have to keep shaking it until something comes out Did you check the numbers at the bottom of the inhaler to make sure there is something in it?? I would contact 1-888-482-9522 and complain!!!!I have a quick question tho I have been Asthmatic for 40 Years Amethyst and I need the same inhaler 2x day Thank you GOD my insurance pays for FLOVENT $595!!!

It certainly makes more sense to me. But if it costs that much I am glad she didn’t prescribe it. I would have told the pharmacy to keep it. I still can’t get anything out of it. I’m glad I am not asthmatic and struggling to breathe because I could pass away before any medication comes out of this thing!!The Albuterol, I am not a doctor, but I do not think that calmsThe Flovent is a steroid so would not that make more sense??
