Goooood morning! ~O) ~O) ~O) And Happy October!

Poop is doing well and even showed a few blues yesterday morning. But, in Poopy style, it was upwards from there. One of these days he's going to shock me and ride greens. Have no idea when, but it will happen. :smile:

The catnip stuffed yellow duckie has been released from the corner of the carrier and now resides closer to the front albeit still smooshed up against it. Since it still looks sopping wet, I didn't touch it. Besides, Poopy was laying just outside the carrier and was giving me the evil eye for daring to think about touching it! :lol:

Nice blues yesterday. Hopefully you'll see more of them today. That's so funny on Poopy and his duckie. I have a couple of cats that don't like cat nip. That surprised me.

Hi Teresa,

Nice blue numbers, hope Poopy comes back down today. That's so cute about the sopping wet duckie. I wish Zeus like toys, or even catnip.... But he doesn't. He did pounce on a toy mouse recently which gave me some hope, but after the first pounce he was done :smile:

Good Morning Teresa - Sounds like Poopy had an exciting weekend. Gotta love the catnip. Crossing paws he will give you good numbers today.

AMPS 263...not too bad. Fed 8% and he's lapping it up as if I never feed the poor baby. Silly kitty. He does love his fuds!

Carla - Thanks for stopping by. Yeah, it's strange how some cats don't like catnip at all and others can't get enough of the stuff. :smile:

Kathie - Thanks for stopping by and the well wishes. I'd love to see Poopy drop down in numbers, too, but the stinker hears his own drum. ohmygod_smile Me thinks Zeus is just too smart for fake toys. :-D

I think the answer is yes, providing you don't have any pressing plans tonight? He dropped 60 points (222 to 162) in the hour before AMPS a couple days ago, and had a cycle without drastic surprises, so the same thing could happen this time. But I'd be prepared for a +2/+3 tonight.

Thank you Deborah and Amy. :-D I am so happy Poopy is finally dropping below the yellows. :-D

On a side note...when I went shopping the other day to buy food, PetSmart had their brand on sale so I bought 10 cases. This meant I bought a couple of new flavors. The kitties seem to love the Beef & Liver (YUCK!) they had this morning and the Tuna & Egg for dinner. They totally cleaned out the well in less than two hours tonight! (Normally there's a bite or two when it turns to a new well at +3.5.) They also cleaned out both wells this morning. Little piggies. :-D

+3 115...and his food has been empty for at least an hour and isn't due to turn for another 30 min. Thinking I ought to spoon out a few bites to hold him until then to help slow this drop.

Your call Teresa. He isn't too low yet, but it looks like he's toying with the idea of giving you a green.
It's LC, right? A spoonful won't hurt.

I'd love to see green...but would really like to avoid a bounce, if possible. Even with food on board he's dropped 70 points in 3 hours.

The Tuna & Egg is 9% carbs...or thereabouts (had to use the calculations to figure it, based on min and max...not great, I know).

Hiya Amy! :lol: I have 11% (which I've been feeding him as regular until Dr. Lisa came out with her updated list) and some 18%.

Hiya Carl. :-D He had his mini snack I dished out just after +3 then chowed at +3.5 when it turned.
 
The food should keep things under control. Test at either +4.5 or +5. You have to get up early tomorrow?

They ate 3/4 of the second can, and all of the first. It usually takes them all night to eat this much.

I'll test then hopefully get to lay down for a bit. BRB

That's the snack catching up with the meter. If he'd dropped anyway, you'd be pulling an all nighter. Can you set an alarm for a test between now and when you'd normally get up? Does the feeder dispense again later?
