Nice night for Mannie last night - YAY: a green surf. And this morning - sigh.... a pink bounce: 323. Well - darn, but in a way, it's OK: it's another , so at least I know I can go, and hopefully not worry too much about him. Of course that is what i said yesterday, and came home to a 65 @ +9. :shock: uhhhhhh Mannie? nice safe numbers while your bean is gone, OK? Maybe ditch the pinks, and surf the blues? What'd'ya say?

Mannie is in good spirits this morning - lots of cuddles and purrs. He wasn't too thrilled to see the hike gear out again - that got a glance, and a heavy sigh, with a "not again" look. Breffis #1 eaten with gusto. He was hopeful that his sisters didn't finish theirs, but alas - they did. Too high carbs for you anyways there fella. Interior has been secured, and back to the nanners, waiting for breffis #2.

Have a great Friday everyone! I am headed off to one of our mountain passes, and a lake nearby. It is my last ditch effort to wind up the hiking season before the snows hit the mountains. I hope to visit condos when I get back. Be safe too Mannie - see you for your +10. :-D

HI EVERYBODY! and thanks - hike was so nice. It was an alpine lake hike, close to one of the mountain passes here. Lake was so beautiful, what with all the fall colors, the clear skies, and sun. I had a blast! But I do have to share this one thing - I was about 2 miles out, had stopped to take even more photos, turned around to see another hiker approaching. ohmygod_smile he was butt naked - not a stitch on! un-freaking-real. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: And what does one say to a naked hiker??? huh????

Mannie did well while I was gone - no 65 today, but I did come home to a 164 @ +11. Considering the pink this AM, and the 7% fuds I left for him I think that the 164 is not too bad. Thanks bud! You gave your bean nice day off (even with the naked guy). WOOT! cat_pet_icon

And thanks too to everyone that visited Mannie today. I am sorry I haven't been able to visit anyone yet, and didn't do so well with that yesterday either. Tonight, I hope! I hope all is well in LL!, Yes?

121 @ +2 - fed a higher carb to try and slow this drop. Guess Mannie wants to be a green boy tonight. Nest test @ +3

looks like Mannie wants to keep me busy tonight - still surfin' the greens. fed this one too with a small amount of LC, but I hope he just decides to surf this on his own... I just wish I wasn't so tired tonight - today's hike was 10 miles of slopes: down not too bad, but omg - the 5 miles of up up and more up is finally making itself known. :? Figures huh - tired bean = kitty who's trying to be Padi certified. :lol: :lol:

76 @ +5. fed small tsp of LC, will check in 30 minutes, hopefully his nadir is still between +5, +6. Come on Mannie SURF :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

74 @ +4.5, fed another small tsp of LC, will test at +5.5. love the green, but up just a little, so I can stop the fuds, call it an official surf, and get some I-) I-) OK Mannie? let's see - nadir should be about... now. I hope...

Hi Marjorie - for me HC is anything in the 16+ % carb range. Normally what I feed Mannie is FF 18% stuff - the ones with the gravy. LC usually refers to 3/4% carbs (he's on wellness chicken or turkey for the most part).

72 @ +5.5 - fed another 1 small tsp LC. Come on Mannie - your bean would love to see you surf this without the additional fuds... will check him @ +6, and the decide upon a course of action, one which I hope includes some shut-eye. :lol:

68 @ +6. I think I will have DH feed his +6.5, resurrect the living dead (aka me) @ +7.5 so I can check him, and maybe in between get some sleepus. I think he should be at nadir, and on the rise shortly... famous last words... :-D

Mannie...you are really doing great tonight. Both my beans are up with me but they sure look tired. Since I'm a diver like you, they just won't let me get
any sleep and keep poking me...I see you are getting alot of pokeys, too. Wouldn't you know....the better we do, the more we get pokeyed!! Hope your number goes up a bit so you can get some rest and so can your beans. We're chillin' here until +6 or my number start going up. luv ya Mannie

Hey Gracie! How it's going? I know on the pokes! I am getting soooooo many. I finally got a number though that my bean likes, so she said I could go to bed now... I just don't get it - they want numbers like these and then they fret so when we deliver. Go figure huh. and I so agree - us divers have got to stick together.
