In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, want to make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! The tuna cheese been perfected, and even with the added tuna and nip, I have to admit that they are pretty good! And, as a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!

I hope everyone had a great Monday. Mine was great. Weather has been just awful the last few days - lots of rain, lots of thunder and lightning. It was hard to say what yesterday would do, it was such an assortment of all kinds of things predicted, different but still wet just about everywhere, so.... finally found a dry spot, sorta. Well the radar said it would be dry, so we took a chance. ;-) I was glad that the outdoors looked doable, for a bit in the morning. The pool was set for the afternoon. This was my DD's last half day, so she could come ad watch William so that Nicholas and I could swim. This is what I wrote about yesterday in last night's post: "Hi everybody! I hope your day has been a good one. Nicholas and William and I have had a very nice one. Despite the weather, we did make it out. :-D Boys and I ended up at Scriber Lake in Lynnwood today, a local city lake that has lots of ducks, and a nice loop trail. It was hard to tell just what the weather would do, this looked like the best driest spot, it was local, and the car could be parked within a good close distance so off we went. Little guy was really tired this morning, so just as well I guess that we didn't travel far. Anyways - he got to chase ducks, run in puddles, break and toss sticks, had a great time. It really is a nice little lake there in the middle of the city. Pool was good this afternoon too, he did well, considering he was a little on the worn out side when we got there. He still wanted to go, so off we went. His mom was there again this afternoon, so show off time. LOL. He really does love that river. Too funny! It's nice to see him enjoying the big bucket dump too. All in all it was a nice day in the pool, and at the lake. William did well too, awake for about half the lake walk. " Picassa links: Scriber Lake and Swimming! There were ducks a-plenty at the lake. Amazing what a few ducks will do for a little boy. It was fun to watch him chase them.

Our morning breffis traditions continue here: waffles, ad berries. And, the horrors!, I was out of bacon. That I need to rectify today. after all, what is waffles and berries without a side of bacon? Lola showed up again today, she really loves these breffis sessions. Bug and Elsa were nowhere to be found.... Good Morning from William and Nicholas: Breffis!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   Yesterday we did not have any tub of chicken stealing...  that was to funny the other day. anyways, they have all been good kitties. Elsa made her rounds outside yesterday, and was ready to come back in 5 minutes after she went out. Seems it was a little wet and windy out there, and she did not care for being blow around the yard.  Bug spent way too many minutes checking the food dishes to see if I had feed him more that normal.  and Lola? Lola is Lola... she sent what had to be a good portion of the day in the paper recycling bin, pulling out and shredding any and all paper that she could find in there. What a mess.  You gotta love it. Gooooooooooooo LOLA! YUPP! Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. Weather permitting, I hope to take the boys up to the Skykomish River, so that Nicholas can see the salmon run near the town of Index. I had been up there a week ago where the river runs right next to the road. I was fortunate enough to see some of the pinks on their run. I hope they are still in the process of making their way upstream. I think Nicholas would really enjoy it. William? I dunno! I hope he doesn't sleep through it all. We shall see how the weather looks there in a few then decide. Paws crossed!

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Morning Michelle, sounds like a really nice day yesterday in spite of the weather. I wish we would get some of your rain. It's been so hot here and in the 80's That's great how it's working out with Nicholas and the swimming and his Mom coming to watch.
Have a great time today. You can tell by Nicholas' smiles how much he loves swimming. I was watching the video of Nicholas decorating his waffles. :-D It's a real work of art and so cute. Oh no with the out of bacon.

YAY! oh yes on those smiles telling it all - he LOVES the pool. Wasn't that waffle vid fun? It is such a process with him. Really enjoyable moments. Hey Lil Bit Pit -- Put your paws in the air like you don't care, what's the word.....Tuna Tuesday! Yippee!

My tummy is a bit rumbly today, it was really bad yesterday bad things came out of everywhere, I thought I was the girl in Exorcist! So, I need some special tuna water to help my rumbly tummy feel better. Lil Bit you think that you can deliver that for me. I'm feeling so bad I can't even get off the couch! I never did make it to bed to bother the bean or yell at her for giving me baby food.

Oooh my tummy.

Signed Maui the Magnificent, not feeling well

We LOVE the pictures of breffis before you and the boys head out to adventureland - nom, nom, nom! And my favorite line of the day "normalcy in Muskateerville"!

I'm glad you were able to get out without too much bad weather yesterday. I hope it worked out that you could take the boys to see the salmon run. I bet Nicholas would love that.

Am I the only one who is food obsessed? Are those blackberries? They're as big as plums. Holy Cow!

HI Michelle. I think Nicholas is the happiest kid I 'know'.

HI everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Nicholas, William and I ended up at the Aquarium today. The weather reports really were awful, so rather than get soaked I elected for an indoor romping grounds, aka the Seattle Aquarium. What was just too funny was that by the time we got there the rains had stopped, the clouds departed, and we had a very nice afternoon. A bit windy, but still sunny! Who knew? We should have been at a river!  Well, no matter, we can always try for that tomorrow. Nicholas had a great one at the Aquarium. His approach to these places now is more hands on than before. He spends alot of time trying all the things they have there, things that require interaction,. It's kinds fun to watch him fly through the place. We visited all the fish tanks today, saw the diver in the main wall tank, which is huge, and was able to watch them feed the harbor seals. They have them trained to jump high in the air too. That was alot of fun. All in all, a very nice day at the aquarium. I will post the Picassa links in tomorrow's condo.

HI Melissa - thanks on the vid. I just thought it was so cute: how methodical he was, every piece needed this or that. way too fun! Thanks on the river run - we didn't go, weatehr was just to questionable, so maybe tomorrow. I too think he would really like it.

MAUI! GF! you what???? oh no! the exorcist1 That's mega scary.... Lots of tuna water coming up! hey - BF is good! I lbs that stuff. Well, I will make sure you gets all the tuna water you need. ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT PIT

hi Anne - THX on all. I love that breffis routine that Nicholas has 0-it is just fun, and a great way to start things off. Chow down and then off on an adventure.  I have to admit: i love that line too, love to be able to type it! "normalcy in Muskateerville"!

Hi Carla - THX, me too on yesterday - got really lucky! No salmon run today - weather was, it thought, not the best. turns out we maybe could have gone. Well. I hope to try again tomorrow or TH. I know he'd love it.

HI Barb - LOL in teh food obsessed. and yes - those are blackberries. they are HUGE! local grown, but still HUGE! They must be a good 1.5" long. hey - thanks on Nicholas being the happiest kid you know. he rally is ahppy little boy. he has his moments, but what 2 yr old doesn't. He makes everything fun.
