Good morning and we hope it is a beautiful day where you are and that your kitties are doing well and are happy!

Gracie has all 5 P's in place today...unusual for her to have her poo in the morning but she came bounding out of there like she had shed the weight of the world and proceeded to jump in her favorite trash can which is just the perfect Gracie-size (you can view her in her trash can in her profile). She's been running and playing with little brother, Tobey, this morning which makes me so thrilled..it's taken a couple months but now they are starting to really romp and play. However, she LOVES to wrestle and he hasn't quite caught on to that yet so he lays on his back with his feet on her head pushing her away while he makes little cooing sounds...adorable.

We had the yard full of javalina this morning...inc babies which made doing Gracie's pokey interesting as she was very intent on watching them instead of holding still. She got her dose reduction last night after her PMPS so I am happy with her AMPS this morning..expected it to be so much higher. I'm glad that somewhere in our novice brains we made the good decision to go ahead and do the dose reduction instead of shooting through the bounce.

Have a wonderful day...hope everyone surfs!

Re: 10/1 Gracie AMPS 284

whew~! marjorie i've been waiting to see that dosecrease. of course today can't be reacted to becuase of the bounce but hopefully at this dose you'll bounce less and smooth out...((((both of you))))

Re: 10/1 Gracie AMPS 284

Good morning you two, and good luck with the reduc! Thanks again Marjorie for all the great info yesterday.

Re: 10/1 Gracie AMPS 284 +2 300

Thanks, girsl!! It will be interesting to see what kind of ride Grace takes us on today!! We are hoping to get through the bounce and see what the reduction does for her.

Re: 10/1 Gracie AMPS 284 +2 300 +5 267

Looking good Gracie! Marjorie, you also needs to take into account that the shed is emptying a little. it may tale a couple of days to even out. Nice so far though.

Re: 10/1 Gracie AMPS 284 +2 300 +5 267

Thanks, Ann! She was starving at +6 so I had to give her something...I hope that doesn't throw us off too much because the plan we've been sticking to is PS, +1, +2, +3, +8. I may have to gradually wean her from eating in the middle of the afternoon. Glad Tess is having such an awesome day. We're headed out for a late lunch/early dinner as we think she's going to just hold a flat yellow line for reasons you mentioned.

Re: 10/1 Gracie AMPS 284 +2 300 +5 267 +8 276

Iusually try to give Tess some really LC snacks when she needs to eat and her numbers are up, 0% or 1%. The FF Appetizers are good for that.

Good luck with the dosecrease. I love hearing about Gracie and her trash can - such a cute pic. Its really nice to hear that she is feeling so good.

Re: 10/1 Gracie PMPS 275

Gracie is just hanging onto the yellow since her dose reduction but yellow better than pink. Does anyone have a really good diagram of .75u? I try to be really consistent but it is hard. If I could see a diagram, it would help. It almost seems to me that .75 would just about touch the portion of the .5 line that is closer to the 1u line...not sure which is top and which is bottom in reference to a syringe...but if the needle is the top, then is .75u about touching the bottom of the .5 line? Thanks!!

Re: 10/1 Gracie PMPS 275

I don't have a pic for you...
I think there is one around here somewhere,...but .75u is half way between the 0.5u and 1u marks
Practice with some used syringes and some kind of fruit juice.
That helps, and mark one with tape for reference.

Re: 10/1 Gracie PMPS 275

Thanks Ronnie and MJ. I actually found those same pics, MJ, earlier today...he has everything but .75 and .25. So here's the funny thing, Ronnie..I'm terrible at
estimating this kind of thing. My golf coach during a putting lesson asked me once "what's more important, distance or direction" and I said "definitely direction" and he said "no distance" and I said "you haven't seen my sense of direction yet"...in other words, I'm terrible at looking at something and figuring the distance.   I'll keep working at it!!

You might need a magnifying glass to see your syringe as clearly as this one, but I hope this helps a little bit.

Good luck!

I know this is yesterday's condo, so I'm just posting a brief important tip given to me,
try rotating the plunger clockwise while your measuring as well.
You can also blow up the pic posted for you and print it. I did that too and taped it on the kitchen wall for quick viewing.

Thanks CD for the pic!
