He had just finished his regular snack before I showed up (it had a mix of MC and LC). I gave him a little MC and added another snack spin 30 minutes from now with more MC. I can't stay home, so I just have to believe he'll keep surfing.

Ok, I guess.

I feel like a terrible mom... I was trying to trim his mats off and I managed to take off a chunk of his skin !!!! He let out a small cry and didn't even try and bite me. He is such a good boy. But I feel HORRIBLE!!! I put some Neosporin on it right away and I am hoping it doesn't hurt too much. Ughhhhhhhhh.

You're not the only one. I have done the same, but I didn't realize until later when I found a scab exactly where I cut off a mat. Tanner meowed a little, but he hated me dealing with the mats so I thought it was that. :(

This has been a big paranoia of mine for a while... so now he will stay gross until his dental and I'll beg them to shave him so we can just have a fresh start. I can bathe him, but trimming, not so much I guess. I just feel incredibly awful :( it must not hurt an large amount though, he is sleeping on it. (Of course... now I'll have to watch it for gross stuff. The fur around it was cut first so its exposed to the dirty floor :banghead:)
