Good morning LL!

Well, Bob did really good while I was away. He got fluids on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Perked him right up! Everyone said he was playful and happy and ate and drank quite a bit. I noticed some pretty big pees in the LB, so I don't know if that's BG related or fluids related. He felt good last night but he did cough a little this morning at about 4:30am. I got up to pet him and he was doing the swallowing thing. DANGIT! Nobody saw or heard him do it, but I'm a crazy light sleeper and they may not have heard him if he did it. If he continues, I think I may have to do an endoscopy. The vet wants to do the Barium/Radiograph thing first, but I said HELL NO. They would have to give my poor cat 30 ml of barium and then hold him down. I think not. They put him under for the endoscopy and I think that sounds less stressful for my boo.

My ss is not updated and they didn't really check him a whole lot this weekend. I know he had a bounce on Sunday (488) because of where he was before they gave him inuslin on Saturday night. Pretty certain he bounces from going into the blues.

Hi guys .. glad to hear bob did so well while you were away .. so sorry the swallowing/coughing fit is still going on .. sounds like the endoscopy is the easier test for bob .. have a great day guys!

They also make a freeze dried cat food.... here's one of the flavors. turkey

Thanks Rhiannon - I'm going to order some of that food and treats. Let's keep our fingers crossed that Bob likes it.
 
I'm glad Bob did well while you were gone and you made it back safely. I hope the swallowing/coughing thing is nothing serious.
