After that pretty run of blues she just keeps going up again. But we also have both the full moon that raises her, and thunderstorms in the area which also makes her go up so just going to try to hold steady for a few more days and see if she settles back down again. Unless someone sees something in her spreadsheet I don't.

Ouch, that hurts to see those 300s. She may need a little dose increase, but I do agree on letter her attempt to settle out of possible stress induced highs until tonight or tomorrow am.

Come back down, Autumn! Those are not good numbers...

Guess there is always a chance she went low over night and I just didn't catch it. It could also just be the weather because if it is as I suspect she has arteritis in her back then this weird weather could have her achy as well, I know it certainly does me.

At least it is a much better ending for the day than it began. Now if she will just stay down in these blues and maybe sprinkle in a few greens for me.

It took Grayson quite a while to break into the blues when we switched. Autumn's SS looks good - especially this early in the transition!

Although no one is excited to see pink (unless you've LIVED in the reds & blacks!), I've noticed the pattern for Grayson has been a shift from the higher pinks to the lower pinks...and more time in the yellows. Hopefully we'll begin to see the yellows as we now see pinks...

I also keep telling myself that she went 10+ months after being dxed as a diabetic and Lord, only knows how long she was diabetic before anyone thought to take her to a vet...Sooooo she is doing exceptionally well considering she has only really been being treated at all since late April. She has gone from being under 6lbs to being a slim 14lbs, she was so matted she couldn't even really walk and when I had her shaved we found all kinds of things in those mats, including some of them had rubbed her skin for so long she had like bedsores. And from having BGs in the reds and pinks even a few blacks on 1.5u of Lantus to now .25u of Levemir and mostly blue days with a very good chance to go OTJ once her dental problems are cleared up...So I really shouldn't freak so hard on those yellows and pinks but man I still hate them..especially when I can't see a reason for them...its one thing if I know like with Maxwell when I founded him whiskers deep in the spaghetti pot. :lol:

LOL Now if you add in the fact that Maxwell is a pale orange and white cat who up until then had a white face and paws. Lets just say after the ordeal he was more orange than normal...Who know spaghetti sauce would stain paws like that... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Mel: Autumn is now 14 lbs.? Wow! That is one great recovery for that poor girl! (((HUGS))) to you for all that you've done/are doing for her.
