Hi Marjorie,

DH probably thinks I'm crazy, but I have Achilles on a very strict feeding schedule. He eats at AM test time, at +1, +3 and +8. We repeat the schedule in the evening so its PM test time, +1, +3 and +8. In total, that's 8 snacks.

During this trial period he is getting <=5% carb food.

Thanks, Eva. I wondered if you were sticking to that same schedule even tho he's on his trial. Probably the best thing. We're still doing that with Gracie and will give her plenty of time to adjust to it and see if it helps her. I really don't even mind getting up at 3:30 am to give her a +8 snack!

You're a better mamabean than I am because I use the auto feeder for the +8 snack. This mamabean needs her sleep.

I would get one except I have three other cats on different diets and I won't leave her closed up in a room....she likes to sleep cuddled up with me
but we also usually have Tobey the kitten and at least Teddi in bed too. I just couldn't sleep without Grace. I'm usually up some time in the night
to go to the bathroom so I just get up at 3:30, give her 2 tsp 3%, she eats while I'm in the bathroom, and then we go right back to sleep. I don't even
turn on any lights and I don't test her.
