Yesterday

Started new dose of 2.5u last night. PMPS +10 was 206, now AMPS is 166 and Biggie is acting like a new cat (his old self I haven’t seen in a very long time)! He danced around and chatted with me as I made his breakfast, ran to the kitchen and waited for me, then went to his scratching pad and did a little dance on there.

Biggie is acting like a new cat (his old self I haven’t seen in a very long time)! He danced around and chatted with me as I made his breakfast, ran to the kitchen and waited for me, then went to his scratching pad and did a little dance on there.

It is a joy to see them reclaiming their old selves once they start seeing lower numbers.

Looks like you have an exciting cycle ahead! Going by that AMPS!

He’s holding steady at 158 at + 2.25, so once insulin and food spike balance out, hopefully he will glide safely down to some healthy, healing greens…
He has had his +1 and +2, and will feed more as needed.

@Bandit's Mom - It seems like instead of following the 12 hour cycle and responding to the insulin, he decided to bounce in the middle of the cycle…maybe since he started out low, he was going in that direction regardless of the insulin? Any other thoughts on that? Seems like he would have gotten into the greens if he hadn’t decided to bounce in the middle of the cycle…

Looks like his nadir is around +4 and then he starts heading up. Bouncing contributes to the upward momentum as well. In bounce clearing cycles like 10/4 and 10/6, the nadirs can be later - even as late as the end of the cycle.
