Well the Vet took another fPLI blood test, thinks his pancreas might be doing something funky. She's not sure what's wrong with him... but there might be some kind of obstruction in his stomach. When she xrayed him she said there was a ton of food in his belly, maybe not digesting fast enough? We're not sure. I think she's calling me tomorrow with the results.

I also wanted to thank DCIN for helping me fund Jake's vet visit, I couldn't have done it without you guys :) <3
Have a good weekend!!

will she have a radiologist look over the x rays for further eval? any mention of an u/s ?

will look for your post with test results.

How is he feeling now? still going OOB? eating ok?

sending healing vines....

SO glad you brought him in ....lets cross our fingers for a good outcome....
Sending healing vines to Jake....feel better boy! Hope it's something they can resolve easily.... :YMHUG:
did they say anything about his dose...this is the 11th cycle on that same dose...right?
maybe others will be by to talk about that (if you can put this morning's number in your SS when you get it...)

Oh, I guess this is Friday's condo, right? Ok, when you post today's then. hopefully the smarter people will come by with thoughts.....Hope you have a good day....scritches to Jake!

Please ask to get a copy of the labs that your vet ran on Jake. That will give Cheryl and others a chance to see the actual lab values. I agree with Cheryl, an ultrasound may be helpful to know if there's an obstruction. It's also possible that there's a motility problem. Since you've noted that Jake has been impacted, this could be contributing or it may be that his entire GI system is slowed and food isn't moving through in the way it needs to.

Has Jake been losing weight?
