Lol, the cats are afraid of the birds; the birds will bite the cats between the bars! No stress at all for the birds, more like fresh meat, poor cats!If there are birds in that cage they must be a little stressed!Glad he is doing so well.

Thanks, Carla, yes, he's back in the lagoon but apparently he likes diving today! Yikes!Nice report for Squallie. I'm sure he'll be surfing the lagoon again today.

Lol, that's hilarious! Usually the birds will leave the cats alone as long as the cats leave them alone, but my civvie girl will try to bat at them through the bars and they nip at her. It's kind of funny to watch the little dance she does, trying to keep from getting bitten! And they have sharp beaks (lovebirds).Hope Squallie gets his numbers back into surfing greens....it's a little too close for comfort for your mama and your support group, sweetie!
Lucy, I'm with you about not all cats are fearless around bird creatures! The other day a friend sent me a photo of a family of wild turkeys who were enjoying the yard, much to her cat's chagrin. He raced in the house, all scaredy'd out, terrified by the sight of them. However, in her photo is a squirrel busily storing up food for winter, entirely unphased by the presence of the smallish wild fowl with a somewhat prehistoric gait!
