Well done Xelo :bighug:
I many times did not wake up to an alarm too:facepalm:.

Maybe next time when Sinver is high green at +8 like last night, feed low carb food instead of the 12% since it was after nadir.

I could not let sinver go any lower as I had to go out of the house and could not control it and gill always advised me to prevent it if I was not going to control it being higher in carbs why then it would go down I did as she told me I could not wait to see the am if it was too low I did not have time to raise it because I had to go out shortly.

Of course safety is always first!!!.
You went out last night after the +8 BG 98?

No I did not go out after +8 but I had to take care of my son who was crying and I slept with him I was very sleepy and tired... and I had the alarm clock set just before am I thought I would not sleep but I did... he was 98 and I had to leave in 3 hours I could not expect him to go lower because I would not have time to raise it, I have little experience and gill told me when in doubt give him carbohydrates. I could not let sinver go down more and I could leave home leaving him low... I thought it would be the best option since no one at that time could help me and that they were sleeping.

You have some very good data that in most situations you can feed LC (under 10%) after nadir which for Sinver is about +5-+6, unless the BG is lower green or lime. Safety (kitty and yours) first :cat:

You are doing an amazing job juggling everything. Sinver's progress is great too. He is at a stable weight and no ketones.

I hope I didn't upset you with my question. If I did I apologize it was not my intention. :bighug:

:gran abrazo:[/CITA]

It is not safe to puncture the dose in half an hour I have to leave as soon as I prick you I will not be able to measure you or the +1 I need that the is safe to receive your infection I will give carbohydrates now and in the infection I need that you are safe until you return

I think you can give the full dose and feed at shot time high carb food, maybe 20% since you'll be gone for 3 hours
When you get back from the dinner with your family, test and post.

I give you a snack in advance to be sure then I will give you more doses when you take your sugar in half an hour. I'm nervous about going out with him like that.

I understand being nervous. The high carb food with the PMPS meal should keep him safe until onset of insulin. You will be back home when the insulin onsets.

Xelo ,
Normally we wouldn't recommend feeding @+11 but in this specific situation, it is recommended for safety since you will be leaving the house after the PMPS injection for a couple of hours.

I'm going to leave Sinver in a room so he can have his food in case he needs it, he doesn't want the automatic dining room. In tentare return as soon as possible maybe this was about 1 hour 30 minutes. I prick him at 20:45 and I have more margin for when it starts to take effect and I will be here, today I feel rested in case I have to spend the night with him.

I know that you feel nervous. I see 10/1 and one big difference was how high Sinver was at AMPS. Another difference is what you fed today is much higher carb than on 10/1 to keep him safe.

I think I will not go out to dinner at the moment because I did not have a good dinner...just thinking about the cat and dinner did not sit well... what do you think of it will be all night high and no longer ?
