Powder is not a happy boy today. Not sure if he still is upset over his bath and grooming or just tired from it.
He is using litter box, not to hungry no meowing eyes ok puzzling :? Will go to vet today he is really going to be mad cat(2)_steam

Since we have a lot to think about with this FD, and we realize that our kitties are a lot more than just their BG numbers, we have a devised a short cut to explaining their overall health and well being. We watch for 5 Ps in each day and then make a mention of it in our condos. We might say something like" All Ps in place today" or "4 Ps so far" still missing the playing or something like that.
P=Purring
P=Peeing
P=Preening
P=Pooping
P=Playing
Now, my two are 13 so we don't see the P for Playing all that much, but I do watch for all the others. No pooping is a concern and if they aren't purring it means something is wrong. We watch the Whole Cat and give our WCR whole cat report of the day....

Sorry that I didn't get to visit condos today :sad: I missed a lot of excitement. Powder went to vet. Didn't find anything out of the ordinary. UA normal except glucose. He cleared him for dental cleaning next Tuesday. Wanted him to take 10 days of Baytril chewable but Powder isn't having any of it. Crushed +put in food wouldn't eat it, now doesn't want to eat anything I put down.
Brought SS for vet. He wasn't impressed "I can cure a cat's diabetes with that food out there meaning Royal Canin Dry for Diabetes. It doesn't matter to me because I know that since Lantus and the help from everyone here has helped m.y cat and is his best chance to come off. He saw the high numbers as L wasn't controlling him instead of listening about feeding him HC to bring up BG. Oh well maybe he'll change when he sees how well the kitty does. Today is day 15 on L.
