Morning ~O) ~O) Maggie seems to like the added dose drop! I'm relieved to see the 159 this morning, as I tried a new food on Maggie that may work and I can get her off the fish. She seems to really like the Friskies Special Diet Turkey & Giblets, and there is no spike so far with her bg! Janet & Binky's list has it as 5 carbs vs. the updated FF Turkey & giblets having 7 carbs, which Maggie loves. All P's except the lb today. Yesterday there were two P's missing and gave me worry until she finally did her business. Have a nice Monday. Healing vines to all the kitties here with medical issues.

A nice start for Maggie today. Glad she's liking the new fuds and her BG seems to like it as well.

Very nice for Maggie and I'm glad the dosecrease is helping and the new food!!! YAY!!! I love seeing her like this!

Hey Surfer Girl! What a beautiful cycle! I'm glad she likes the Friskies, I've looked at that too. May have to give it a try.

Hi Ann!! Maggie is looking great!! I know that FF Turkey & Giblets used to be 3% carbs (on Janet & Binky's list), but someone on Health, a looong time ago, posted that the new count (after a reformulation) was 3.9% carbs. Have the numbers changed again? Are there other flavors that have different carb percentages also? Let me know where you found this information. I think I need to update my lists!!!

Ann, I finally just looked through the Sunday paper and there is a 10 for $4 coupon for Friskies in the Vons/Pavillions ad.

I was gone for a few hours, and it looks like Maggie surfed the 100's - good girl!

Thanks Ann & Tess with the 10 for $4 coupon for Friskies in the Vons/Pavillions ad. That's a real good deal. I bought a few cans of the Friskies Special diet but not too many in case she decides she doesn't like it! :YMSIGH: Maggie likes being called "the Surfer Girl"! :lol:

Hi Patty & Champ, The FF T& G is actually 7% carbs. It was Jacsets - I don't think I spelled the name right that looked into it, and someone else did a google search or called Purina. Yes, 7% after they changed the formula. No wonder it spikes our kitty's bg's!

Hi Marje, it's hard to believe that just a drop would make such a difference. Thanks to Sienne, as I tend to wear my patience pants too long.

Hi Angela, thanks and she tends to stay flat most of the day after the +3! She must not like change!

Hi Melissa, I sure hope she doesn't turn on the Friskies. I think there are other Friskies that may be low in carb and suitable. I'll have to check Binky's list.

Hi Iorwen, fingers and paws crossed she keeps on liking the new fuds. She's a picky eater!
