J.D. is in his bounce.
Two breffises have been served and eaten. I was at the grocery store last night and was going to pick up some Friskies for the auto feeder when I go to work. I try to use something a little less expensive for the auto feeder feedings, as the cats don't always eat it, and it then just gets thrown away. They had 9 Lives on sale for $24.00 if you buy 64 cans. That would be $0.375 per can, and you get $12.00 in coupons "for your next shopping order" back. So that's kind of like $0.1875 per can. I have never in my life fed 9 Lives, but I thought it was worth a try. And they liked it. Both breffises this morning were 9 Lives Turkey & Giblet, which is 6% carbs and a little more than they usually get with the FF, but I'm happy they ate it.
I decided to give J.D. his Adequan on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings as that is closer to every 3 1/2 days (twice a week). I tried, just a little, to do the intramuscular injection, and J.D. was growling and fidgeting, so I just gave it to him Sub Q in the scruff of his neck. The scruff is okay for this, right? I have been shooting his insulin in the flank.
Hope all are enjoying their Sundays.
