Hi Paola,

Blaze is still in the lower part of the feline BG reference range, and his increased food intake may be what's bumping up levels a smidge. It can take a little while for a cat to start running in the range at which their body is 'comfortable'.

Question about food: is it ok to freeze some food so that when I put it in the automatic feeder and it turns over at the right time, the food is fresher? I am spending the night at my boyfriends tonight (haven't done that since Blaze was diagnosed) and I would like to put some frozen food in one of the containers so that when it turns over tomorrow at 6 am, it will be back room temp but fresher...

Yes! I haven't done this myself but some people freeze cat food in an ice cube tray. I believe some people also just put a plain ice cube in with the food too.
