1 unit on U40?

My cat is getting 1 unit twice daily with the U40 syringes (red cap). What line do I fill to?
 
Hi, well there should be a 1 unit mark.
Can you take a picture of the syringe so I can take a look at it?

The line may not be numbered with a 1 but it should be the first mark on the syringe unless you have a syringe with half unit markings
one unit is a small amount

okay - that's great - so 1 unit is the first mark after the zero line that is closest to the needle- there should be 5 marks and then the number 5 - that means 5 units - It is just a tiny amount
Does that make sense? Do you have any other questions?
 
just use the first mark.
Count down from 5 untill the red cap, it's the mark under the red cap. That's 1 unit.
