Good Morning, Everyone,

The LagoonMeister is having a little bounce this morning. He was eating nighttime food shortly before we got up, so we almost certainly have some food influence in the AMPS. Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans, a good test and shot this morning, and he ate the "first sitting" of breakfast (the rest saved for later, since he had just been eating his nighttime food). This is a dark, gloomy day and a good day to go btb, as Rusty has in his little bed by the radiator. But we have our annual dermatologist appointments in Potsdam later this morning and have to leave soon to drive up there (about 70 miles). We'll be home probably by +8 or so. Rusty will have his lunch served by his automat.

Hope you all have a good day. 155's really not a bad start to the day especially if you've been snacking beforehand. Hopefully Rusty will surf the lagoon today for you while you're out.

Hi guys .. well it sounds like with the gloomy day ahead of him rusty will probably just make himself comfy in his bed and wait for lunch to be served .. Ahh .. the life of a cat! Hope your appts go well .. have a great day!

:lol: He waited so long for his lunch to be served that we served it when we returned!! He often "saves" his food when we go out. After all, ya never know! Anyway, as soon as we got in the door he dove into his dish. We had good dermatology appointments: no surprises. The place on my forehead where I had the Mohs procedure several months ago was pronounced "excellent".

When we got home Governor Cuomo was beginning his State of the State address (an excellent speech and so on point), so I watched it while I took down the Xmas-tree ornaments, putting each away in its little "home". I actually enjoy putting the ornaments away even more than putting them on the tree. Then I went outside to fill the bird feeders and the whole deer family was on our driveway, about 15 feet from the back door. Rusty observed them from the door, but I went out and they just stood there. I gave them the pieces of apple core I was going to leave for "Chip Chip" and scattered lots of sunflower seeds on the ground for them. All this snow has made life rough for the deer. They cleaned up the sunflower seeds.

Off now to visit a few condos before I collapse in front of the TV.

Nice to see some green from Rusty today. Hopefully he gets back to the lagoon and stays there. It's good to hear your appointments went well today. That's really neat the deer just stayed there when you went out.

Hi Ella......I wonder why cats save their food for when the beans are around? Any theories on Rusty?

I can't trust Checks to eat when I'm not here, but he also goes to the food when he sees me coming.

I'm really happy for you, that your derm visit was good. Yaaaay!

Rusty didn't eat most of his dinner. In general, poor appetite today. Perhaps the By Nature in his dish "contaminates" the other foods in it. So tonight I threw it away and gave him straight FF T&G for his bedtime snack (he ate almost all of what I put out) and he will have it for his nighttime food, too. At the Agway in Potsdam today I bought him a can of Wellness Core Turkey and Duck, and a can of Wellness Core Chicken, Turkey, and Chicken Liver. They look pretty good on Dr. Lisa's list from the standpoint of carbs and ratio of protein to fat. We'll try them over the next few days and see if Rusty likes them. (They are a little higher in carbs than the regular Wellness, however.)
