Good morning,

It feels like we’re one tweak away from where we want to be… Maybe I’ll try the +8/+9 snack again tomorrow.

Katie is worried about my well-being with all this testing and stuff. I don’t blame her, I think she misses our old life going on trips and socializing too. For me it’s a small price to pay and completely worth it.

I’m still hopeful for remission at some point. But if that idea goes away, maybe we can pivot to a plan that is more sustainable long term for everyone.

Have a great day! - Tim

Hey Tim, glad to see Pookey is still getting good numbers, hoping this tweak really helps!

I feel you on balancing the effects of caring for a cat going though this with the life from the before times. It can be so hard to explain, even to loved ones who love the cat, why being so intense is helpful for the furry ones.

It’s definitely something I’ve been working on since Ailish was diagnosed in October. Even with her living with her other CG, I’m over here multiple times a week and taking phone calls about it often. It can be hard for an SO not as deep in the trenches of all this, so I hope you guys find a balance, be it remission or a more sustainable long-term approach.

sending y’all good vibes!

Ah, thanks for the words Eamon. It is hard to explain to them - that’s a good way to put it.

Glad to hear you’re involved and doing well with Ailish though, even if it’s still some work. When I’m feeling overloaded, I try to remember a nice quote. Something like “they’re a part of our lives, but we’re their whole life”…

I think about that too. Like in all her moves (four in total) I’ve been the person who picks her up, drops her off and is always dropping in or living with her. Makes me feel responsible to her. She lets me do stuff she fights everyone else on. I bet you and Pookey feel the same way.

Yep, exactly right. And probably many others here too!
