If it weren't for Shadow screaming in my ear this morning, I might still be sleeping! ohmygod_smile I never heard the alarm go off and it must have gone into snooze mode a couple of times. When he woke me, I heard Gloria Estafan singing "The Words Get in the Way" loudly from the radio and that will be in my head until I can replace it with another brain worm. It was loud too. Don't know how I slept through those alarms.....for almost an hour.

He was on my bed, yelling at me and that was the only thing that got me up!!
:lol: Usually, he is a sweet quiet little kitty but not this morning!
They were both about 35 minutes late in getting their shots...and the breffis was a few minutes later. It's a good thing I have filled a few syringes in the past, eh? Blurry eyed, I was still able to get their doses in them before I did anything.
I usually have about 10 minutes to myself before I tend to their needs, but not today. I feel like I have whiplash!
So, he has 3 Ps so far today and a Badge of Merit was earned for waking Mama!

Morning Pat & Shadow. Isn't it strange how they seem to know to wake us up - mostly it's for the food and not the shot!Shadow must have known you needed a few extra zzzzz. Have a good Sunday.
 
It's amazing how into their routine they get and do not tolerate any deviation -- or at least not without a protest. What a good boy Shadow is!!

I'm glad to see you bumped up Shadow's dose.

Some mornings I just dont know how we do it!!
I so know what you mean about bleary eyed dragging ones self to make the food, do the shot, OMG WE have so many things that go into breffis!!!
Meds, supplements, miralax, Copper & his pumpkin hidden in chicken, Chicken poked into the cat food so he will eat that too-!!-Then The Shot & the bubbles, and oh!!-Then comes the testingI---- am tired after feeding them! Moonie is in one room, He is in another--I can do all this in 20 min
I'm sure everyone has had this experience :lol: :lol: :lol: --Just do your best as I know You Always DO!!!

awwwwwwwwww! Shadow, the helper. Sorry for the rush, tho. So much to do in such a short amount of time, especially with TWO cats! I dont know how you do it.

Just to make you feel a little better....when I try to sleep in on the weekends (yes, I try that now!), Duchess doesnt appreciate it. She gets herself to the very top of the piano and dives onto my head over and over until I finally get up. :? Im starting to wear my climbing helmet to bed on the weekends. :lol:

Good for Shadow waking you up! And ear worms are the WORST!!!! They drive me batty some days. The secret to getting rid of an earworm is to get it into someone else's head. I have some songs that I have to turn off the second I hear them or they torment me all day.

You must have needed that extra sleep.

Back in the '70s we used to frequent a used-book shop in Manhattan run by two really old men, Mr. Dauber and Mr. Pine. Mr. Pine worked the upstairs, tiny shop, Mr. Dauber worked in the cavernous basement (a whole city block of book stacks). We would go down there and look at the books and Edward would always begin to whistle just the first few notes of one of the Bach violin concertos. This would set off Mr. Dauber and he would still be singing Bach when we left the shop, after about an hour!

Good thing that Shadow got you up this morning, even if you did have to suffer an "ear worm"!

Oh no, I just read your message in my condo, and you caught me with the two meters :o !! I didn't even post the two numbers. I just wanted to make sure it worked in case my animal meter strips don't arrive in time. I can see why you love the Relion, so user friendly! Actually, I do have a third, the Accu-Chek, which I got for free is the only reason for the third. Did you happen to notice the nice number on the Relion?? ;-) Hope you are having a good day.

You guys are so great....loved the song ...and the story of how Edward would plant a tune for that Mr. Dauber!
And of course, I laughed out loud when I read that Ann has THREE meters in her possession! LMHO! I was onlly kidding about getting a third, but I shudda realized ....what a riot!
I wish I had not raised him the full .25u though sienne...
