Murphy has mostly been blue. He has had a little GI something ? IBD flare vs pancreatitis - but seems gone now.
His latest problem is severe congestion - I always thought his periodic congestion was seasonal allergies but now I am not sure. He hasn't had a nasal discharge this time - but geez - he is so noisy when he eats and frequently "clears his throat" - I can smell his post nasal drip - I am wondering if he has a polyp. I have a vet appt on Wednesday but this morning I started him on doxycycline - because I didn't want to wait, and he already gets zyrtec and apoquel for the congestion. He's got the vet appt for BW in anticipation of a dental in a few weeks - I'll talk to the vet about looking for a polyp then.

Glad to hear Murphy is feel better and that GI something has passed. Poor little guy and you to have yet something else to be concerned about. At least there is a vetty visit in a few days to get it all checked out. Surf safely buddy.

Glad to see Murphy in the blue!!!!:cool::cool::cool:
I wonder if the congested nose is a thing a lot of kitties get. For the last year Fritz has been dealing with a stuffy nose, nasal discharge and can't smell his food.:banghead::arghh:
I have had him in and out of vet clinics not one of them is concerned with it. Nor have I been successful with getting them to even show an interest. Early on and at several clinics I kept asking could it be a polyp? They would look in his ears and say nope.

Good luck hope you find an answer to that!!!!:bighug::bighug:

I hope that the congestion will clear up with Doxy. Iris is still struggling too - some days are better than others, but as of right now, she is once again having a lot of discharge... and she just "loves" having me wipe her nose.

Awe...I am sorry Murphy is congested. My Halloween sneezes all the time and occasionally has some clear discharge. She also snores when she sleeps. Do kitties get deviated septums? Sending vines to Murphy.

I hope Murphy's congestion clears up soon. Poor guy! It's got to be difficult to eat when you're having to snuffle all the time! Sending good vetty vines!:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Squallie has snored for almost all his life! His vet says he has a "soft esophagus." You can press on it lightly and he will make the snoring sound, even when he's awake. It's weird, lol. The older he gets the louder he snores! :)

prayers and love sent for the congestion and hopefully you have an answer soon to why... but the blues are a great thing... hope your drive back was a good and safe one... was happy to see you back on the forums :bighug::bighug::bighug:
