Good morning!

Yesterday's condo

1/8 AMPS=239 (0.75u); +2=198; +9.5=160
1/8 PMPS=191 (0.75u); +2=122; +3=139; +5=160; +7=167

1/9 AMPS=176 (0.75u); +2=221; +10.5=223
1/9 AMPS=221 (0.75u): +1=166; +2=137; +3.5=149

Lucy is in a good mood and purry, but her appetite is just so-so.

She primarily eats Wellness Turkey, but she hasn't been eating this for a while, so now I'm feeding her Wellness Turkey&Salmon or Wellness Chicken.
How and what she eats varies from batch to batch, and the below grading seems to apply to all 3 flavors she eats.

Grade A : Like it! (moussey texture)
Grade B : Acceptable
Grade C : Yuck! No thanks! (smells different)

And the Grade C has this distinct smell to it even with different flavors.
It smells a bit like human's canned meal, like canned stew, and if I smell this she won't eat it, but I won't know till I open a can.
Smaller cans of Turkey (products of Canada) used to always be Grade A or at least B, but these days almost all flavors I buy are Grade C. :-x
I am down to 1 can of Grade A Chicken, which I am saving for more emergency.
I've been feeding her Grade B Chicken, because I can't find Grade B Turkey.
And Grade B Chicken stock is running low too, and I don't know if I can find any more.
This is really annoying.

Hi guys .. nice amps lucy! So sorry to hear about the food struggles .. I feel for those who have to deal with that .. Thankfully mocha loves her turkey and giblets and eats it without complaining .. have a great day guys!

Nice start for Lucy!!!

I like your Wellness grading scale....and I couldn't agree more about how frustrating it is that they are so inconsistent with their product, yet many of us are stuck feeding it. I'm lucky in that Trix loves FortiFlora, which helps cover up the Grade C variations of Wellness. Have you tried any other brands, like EVO? Trix isn't a fan, but ECID and all that jazz.

Yay for a happy, purry kitty this morning. Sorry about the fuds. I wish the manufacturer's would keep things the same.

Lucy is feeling good this evening. :-D :-D
She jumped on my chair and onto the desk when I was working, and also jumped on the plastic tote box I keep next to the bathtub for Lucy while I was having a bath, both of which she hadn't done for a while.
She ate the 1st and 2nd dinner pretty well!

Yay for feeling well and eating!!!! I'm so glad to hear this.

I haven't noticed three grades of WN chicken in what we get. Odd isn't it??

I do tend to notice small differences in Lucy's food probably more than most people only because I finger-feed her every single bite.
I am literally a lot closer to the cat food than most beans. ;-)
 
Nice numbers for Lucy tonight! It's great to hear she's feeling so much more energetic too. :-D :-D

If you have particular lot numbers of Wellness that are Grade A, feel free to PM me and I can take a look at the local pet stores when I am there. Neko used to be on Wellness and I remember well turning over all the cans in the store to see if the lot numbers were the ones that were acceptable. She used to get 4 different flavors of Wellness (before I became so carb aware), just so that I'd have at least one or two flavors that worked at any one time. :roll:
