Luci decided to take a nice swim and surf session yesterday - cast...what cast?:rolleyes: She could care less about the cast - except every now and then she'll stop to pick and pull at it...and then she moves on... she seems quite comfortable and happy - I'm trying to be patient but have heard nothing from this ortho guy.

I guess I'll reach out to the vet today and ask him what has happened to this consult. If there's any chance of the bone healing on it's on without further traumatizing Luci, I'll be patient and wait it out.

At any rate, it's just another blip on the radar. We'll get through it - sooner or later.

In the meantime, our thoughts and prayers go out to little Boomer - hope his procedure went well yesterday and he's feeling better - I didn't have much time to check in on the forum yesterday - getting ready for company - my son is coming to visit on Sunday! I'm excited to see him! :joyful::joyful:

It's good the cast doesn't seem to be bothering Luci. I hope you hear from the ortho doctor today. Sending prayers. Enjoy your visit with your son.
 
Nice that you're having your son over this weekend ! Hope if you call the vet, he can tell you what's going on with the ortho.... and I wish the bone could heal on its own! Would be so much better and easier for Luci!
 
I hope you hear from the ortho soon and since Luci doesn't seem to to that bothered, I hope it's just a matter of keeping the cast on for another (short) while. :bighug:
I'm happy for you that your son is coming for a visit!! Enjoy every second of it!!! My son was here with us for 5 days over Christmas! :kiss:
