Alska came to see Lucian and now wants to stay for a while!

This may be a bounce - which is fine since it a much lower bounce than he had been getting.

Looks like Alska and Autumn are sitting in the sun watching Casey wear his "I'm a piglet" tutu.

Oh Mel!!!! I just laughed myself off the chair!!!!

Poor delusional Casey. He thinks you are starving him! Alska too has become a feline vacuum cleaner. I wish he would save some of his food for mid-day. Then maybe he wouldn't bounce off his day numbers. I may have to get a timed feeder. I just can't guarantee that he would the one to get the food when it popped open. Bing would probably sleep next to the dang thing and count the minutes until it opens.

Wishing Lucian would drop below 250, but I don't dare complain, it's the best he's been in a while.

Maybe you need a timed feeder just for Alska, but he's not in his room all the time now with the kittens gone. How many do you have at home? 2? 3? ?

Yeah, I don't lock him in his room anymore so he either sleeps there or downstairs on the back of the chair in the window. If I got the timed feeder I would have to lock him in his room again (gets cold in there with the door closed).

I have three more - two four year old males and one 14 year old female. She lives on my dryer downstairs so it is only the boys that come in contact with Alska. Every now and then Emmylou ventures out and Alska looks at me like, "Who the heck is that?????"

Years ago, when it was Lucian, Meow and Ripley, they were always fed on the dryer, to keep the dog out of the food. But they ate dry food and I kept it full so they could eat when it appealed to them. That's the problem with Lucian. He wants to eat every 2-3 hrs, so he wakes me all night. He's always eaten at will but won't touch anything that has sat out for 30 min, frozen or not. No leftovers for that boy!

Ahh... Silly kitties and what we do for them. Max isn't quite a feline vacuum cleaner, but he does have that tendency, so it's hard to leave extra food down for him too. So now I try to remember to call my parents at +3-ish to make sure they give him a snack.
