Last night I gave Keiko 10.5 units. This morning, expecting a rise in BG I was surprised to see it was 74. This morning I got home later than usual for his shot and yet he was low. Given these things, I gave him 9.5 units instead of 10.5. I will see how that works today since I'm home to check him. At +2 he went up to 130.
Keiko is more interactive lately, sometimes playful and even mischievous when he can be. He sleeps but is more often "in meditation" sitting with eyes closed but ready to open and be alert. When his BG was always high, he used to eat then curl up and sleep very deeply most of the day or night.
Will give him some small snack meals and check out the feeder you mentioned.
