Another pretty nice start with Trix's "PS"number this morning! I'm liking these greens, too. Maybe her not-so-lovely numbers before Christmas was holiday stress!
She's all snuggly with a happy appy and all the usual Trixie jazz. We seem to be back on track with the gelcaps....for now. She was pretty tense for both pillings yesterday, but they both also went down on the first try. Likewise this morning, plus she seemed a little less tense. I know we'll hit more bumps in the road, and I also know I will always get the stupid thing down. She's such a champ taking that big ole gelcap. Honestly, when everyone here encouraged me to to try it, I never thought that big, human-sized capsule would go down her throat. Thank you for pushing me to try it, because I know, with the gelcaps, everything goes down and stays down!
As I mentioned last night, her BP checked in at a lovely 140. She's always very relaxed when they check her - she gets all rubby lovey dovey with the tech who is trying to wrap the cuff around her little tail, which is kind of funny because she's pretty scared of strangers when they come into our house! We only ran a renal panel last night, not a full panel; she's do for her full panel in March. The kidney values should be back in a day or so. I hope there aren't any surprises, but if there are, I'll just look at Trix and not the numbers, as she is telling me she feels awesome.
Oh, and to prove it: she gained another 4 ounces! I knew she was getting chubby again, but wasn't positive. She's just a hair under 10lbs now. I can't remember what her low was after losing weight thanks to the p-titis, but she had lost a fair amount pretty quickly because of it.
It is a bitter, nasty 7 degrees here. And the router at the store crashed yesterday, so I feel paralyzed. I need to do a lot of ordering, and I can't sneak an visits in either! A technician is supposed to come out this morning to fix it.
With that...it is already time to get moving. Have a great day, LL!

Paws crossed the router gets fixed quickly. So annoying not to have internet access when you are used to it. Stay warm!
