Summers +3 is lower than AMPS so i hoping to see some green soon. Summer is still Peeing outside of box at times and still testing my nerves! lol I put litter boxes on a big plastic tray and put pee pad under the boxes but summer just scratches the pee pad all up and then pees on the tray in front of boxes and all the pee runs under the boxes! ERGH! I wish i could come up with something that would stop her from doing this or think of something that would help the situation. It is killing my back to have to clean up after her several times a day and on top of that my senior boston that is blind is having accidents in her bed several times a day so i have to make sure her bed is clean and dry. I also take care of all my rescues, 28 all together and make my own raw food diet for them all. Its a zoo here and i wish at times i was multiplicity! Lol If anyone has any ideas or tips please feel free to let me know. Thank you and here's praying Summer sees green really soon!! :D:rb_icon:

My Rosie doesn't seem to want to use the LB much. I try to escort her multiple times a day, but can't catch her every time.

I agree that pee pads are a life saver. Rosie (and the other cats) like to scratch at them also. One thing I have done to minimize the mess is to put an old cardboard box under the pee-pad outside of the LB, that way if pee pad is missed or moved out of the way, the pee ends up on the cardboard. It is not ideal, but is easily discarded if required.

I have also purchased some small and cheap (Walmart) rubber backed rugs so that if there is a spill, they can be quickly washed. One caution, do not use a dryer as it will kill the rubber backing - I air dry. My philosophy is if you can't stop the mess, make the clean up as effortless as possible. :cat:
