Georgia and Simon (GA)

Member Since 2010
Simon had a really good day yesterday, staying mostly in the blues so I'm a little disappointed in this stinkus pinkus number this morning. I fattened his dose a little this morning. I have noticed that Simon's back legs have been giving him more trouble. I have been giving him dasuquin and I think it has been helping, although I need to up his dose a little, I think. I have only been giving it to him 1x/day and for his weight, I should probably give 2x. I'll give it a try. Other than his legs, he seems to be in a good mood this morning and even tried playing with Cleo while she slept. She did not take kindly to being swatted at!

Thank you so much for your well wishes for Simon and Cleo when they went to the vet yesterday.

Claudia, I just read your post this morning and I am going to try the chicken thighs in Cleo's food. I tried it before and she didn't really like it, but I didn't puree the chicken, just cut it in small pieces. I'll puree it and see if that makes a difference.

Happy Sunday!

Re: 1/8 Simon AMPS 309

Simon, are you bouncing, or is this delayed vetty stress?

I'm glad Simon had a good vet report. I hope Cleo gets back her missing weight with her diet change. I'm sending be well vines.

My cap is off to you Georgia, for taking two unhappy kitties to the vet at the same time. Brave lady!

Morning guys. Sorry for the bounce this morning - hope Simon decides the lower numbers are better. Nice day yesterday though. Good luck with the new dose. I hope it will help jump start Sion, get him back to the ore normal Simon numbers.

Enjoy your day today! Hope the diet change for Cleo works out well.

My feeling is better both at once to the vet to get it over with. You are such a good bean, Georgia. Happy Sunday!

Hi Georgia, I hope Simon breaks the bounce soon. I hope the increase in Dasequin will help with his legs, too. I was catching up with condos early this am, and I saw Claudia's post about the chicken thighs and phosphorus, very interesting. I hope Cleo will like the new recipe. Sending some vines for both of them. Have a nice day, Georgia.

hi Georgia,
here is another link for you to read

http://www.felinecrf.org/persuading_cat_to_eat.htm#broth

hope Simon comes down for you....

i pure the chicken thigh with the broth and add it to Rocket's food...it has a strong smell and i'm sure that's what makes him eat his food...i'm sure that's what has added the extra nutrient in Rocket's diet....

let me know how it goes....

Hi Georgia. Good luck with the new dose. Vetty bounce is coming down nicely.
I just ground up some cooked chicken yesterday, and will add juice, after I skim it. I discovered Checks like baby food chicken smeared on his FF, better than he like the coursely ground chicken, sprinkled on it, or freeze dried even.
