Hi Everyone,

I'm back from climbing St. Regis. Lots of ice, but a pretty easy climb, even in temps that were about 5 degrees F.
The boys had a good day together. This evening we are having an impromptu showing of a 1926 silent movie starring Leni Riefenstahl: "The Holy Mountain". A few of our friends will be over shortly. bbl. Hope all is well in LL.

Looks like Rusty is sporting his blue sweater today. Perhaps he'll slip into some green pj's tonight? Hope you are enjoying time with friends.

Hi Ella! What a fun day! Your hike sounds wonderful - but cold - brrrrr! You are indeed an adventurer!

And Rusty's numbers are looking very nice - hope he keeps up that nice slide tonight.

Silent film also sounds intriguing. Hope you have a fun evening!

Hi again,
We had a great evening. The film ("The Holy Mountain", 1926; we rented it from Netflix(was amazing for it's long episodes of ski racing, ski-mountaineering and ice climbing. All of it was shot live in the Alps--no studio re-creations. And all of the actors were real ski racers and mountaineers.

Rusty was the perfect host, visiting each of the guests and then settling down in "his" chair (which we had put out for one of the beans!) to watch the movie.

Tomorrow we have to leave early to go to Potsdam to the dermatologist (yearly check-up). Rusty will be on his own until sometime in the afternoon. We'll be able to shop there for good cat food in the Agway.

Thanks for visiting us. I hope you all had a good day/evening and that everyone is warming up. We are not looking forward to the forecast of rain/freezing rain for Saturday. On Sunday we are driving to NYC. This has been a busy month!
