Good Morning, Everyone,

We all had a good night, but it was so cold you could hear the house creaking and popping! It was -17 degrees F. when we got up. Rusty snuggled in his spot in the bed and hogged the covers. This morning we had a good test, shot, and some breakfast before Rusty headed to his basket, which is now next to the radiator, along with his little beds. He moves from one to the other. He was nice and warm and didn't want to schmooze.

Nothing much planned for today except for grocery shopping this afternoon (when it gets a little warmer: at the moment it is -2). We are not walking to the post office today, since the wind-chill is -19. That's a bit much!

Smart kitty, heading back to a warm bed. I hope Rusty slides down to the lagoon today.

We started out at 7F today and are finally up to 11F.
 
How nice that Rusty has options and they are all warm! The lagoon is warm, too, Rusty! Just sayin'....

Brrr! I don't blame you a bit for hunkering down inside.

Smart kitty! I still remember Cleo sleeping directly on the cast iron radiators in Minneapolis!

That hot cocoa sounds like a great idea!
 
Yikes, that is a wee bit chill....brrrr! Nice start for Rusty, despite how wickedly cold it is. Stay safe in that weather, Ella!
 
Rusty is enjoying a blue rest day. He spent it in his basket (newly augmented with an old sweater ). Good appetite, good breathing, ate his lung treat and hunkered down all day, hibernating.
 
Great news on Rusty's breathing! The shore's not a bad place to be either in that weather. F L A T blue?

I was wondering reading your condo, if you would be out walking, it was a bit too cold even for you! :eek: Rusty has the right idea- glad to hear he took his lung treat and his breathing is good in this cold weather!
 
We're having a heat wave: temp. is up to 11 degrees! It rose 4 degrees in the last hour!! The beans are turning in. The cat is downstairs batting his bell balls around (after sleeping almost all evening; he just ate his dinner--at PMPS +4.5!)

About 95 here today - think I got a little sun stroke in the beer garden at lunch time :cool: it never gets to minus anything here :)

Hey Rusty I was a little nervous to go back to that lagoon today without you. I stood on the shore but didn't put my toe in this time. Maybe you want to come with me tonight? My bean and sister bean were so excited that I went I think I should do it again - Purrdy

P.S. I'll bring the frog and we can chase him around, so much fun when he goes boing - apparently it's okay when frogs do that.

Sorry I missed you yesterday. It looks like it was a nice steady blue day for Rusty. Good job Rusty!

-17??????? oh my..... way too cold there! I wouldn't have been out for a walk either. Sure hope it warms up soon there.
