Morning all,
thank you for the well wishes and continued prayers....everything seems to be working whatever it is you are doing....seems like he is on the mend...but don't wanna jinx it just yet...

thank you Celi for that video yesterday...it made my morning (i only watched it this morning)...lovely video indeed....

today this bean feels like a big bag of S!
DH has had a bad cold since thursday and it finally caught up to me...so my whole body aches and that runny/stuffy nose...plus headaches....been sleeping off and on...mainly getting up to test/feed Rocket...and not only that...Comet must have gotten into something last night (Rocket's left overs)...that his panting and restlessness and needing to be let out....well you can just imagine this household being upside down....so i can't think straight....

so far today:
amps 194 fed breffis (i think the higher numbers are due to the higher carb in the food but i'm not gonna sweat it)
+2 140 fed a lil more and this is where the Evo ran out
+3 106 fed a lil of FF
+4 74 fluids/chicken dust/more FF given

will test his +5 then i'll go to bed myself...he is resting comfy on his bed by the window....looking out saying to himself "those people out there are nuts for being outside"

it is cold here...not sure the temp....but snowy and the roads are bad....hopefully DH can go get more food for Rocket in the afternoon....not that i see he will still eat his FF...it ties him over until we give it another go at the Evo...i can probably see if he transitions to it in a few days....

the darn ensure drinks are nasty....so i will try the souppy thingy today....but for now my bed awaits me....

thank you for your well wishes and words of encouragement...means a lot to me and no words can truly describe how i feel....i'm deeply touched...

Claudia You are part of our Family here, what hurts you with Rocket, hurts all of us...This is a great day to hear of Rocket's improvement(antijinx)!!!

Claudia, you have been through the ringer! And even though you are overwhelmed with Rocket's problems you still pm'd me with advice for Blackie. I can't thank you enough for thinking of us. I'm glad to hear that Rocket is feeling better, but sorry that you are sick now. I will be sending more prayers for Rocket and for you to feel better too. I hope you can get some rest today.

Claudia...so glad Rocket is improved today. I hope you and DH can rest and recuperate some. Still sending hugs and healing vines.

good news on rocket! hoping you feel better quickly, girl. and binks, rocket, and your fellow canadian Sarah collaborated on the video...though when i saw it, it immediately brought you and your sugarguy to mind!

I am SO GLAD to read that Rocket is slowly getting better! Huge sigh of relief. I can only imagine what you have been through the past few days - even with all that on your plate you still are looking our for others. You are the best. I hope you feel better soon - ll of you. Mannie and I are sending snowflakes and healing vines for all of you.

Hey Rocket - I know you have been sick and all, but we are having a party today for Shadow, and thought maybe you'd like to try and come. I can pick you up - we have seats reserved at the bar for kitties who are a little under the weather. You can sit and talk and stuff. See you later? ~~ Mannie

So glad to hear that sweet, sweet Rocke is doing so much better.

Man.....You need a break my dear. Feel better. Sending you and your DH a tub of chicken soup to help ya heal. (special Tena's Texas chicken soup w/special healing powers).

I'm glad that Rocket is eating, Claudia. I hope you and your DH both feel better soon. Rest and chicken soup sounds like the perfect thing! Sending healing vines for all of you!

Hi Claudia, Such a relief to hear that Rocket is doing much better. Sorry to hear that you and DH are sick, however! Feel better, and be on the lookout for the KTSS, bearing chicken soup.

i feel like a truck hit me....my eyes are oh so watery...haven't had much sleep as i worry about Rocket...he doesn't go to his bowl of food just yet....i have to bring the food to him in order for him to eat....so i set my alarm every so often to get up and feed him....

he goes to his litter box and goes to drink water on his own....so that's a good sign...but since i've been in the room most of the day he is either on the bed next to me...or his bed next to my bed...or on the floor next to the bed....so never far away....and when i feel i'm getting sleepy next thing i know it's time to test or feed or just to see he is breathing......it's a constant worry...and i'm sure you all understand what i'm talking about....the stare at them to know they're still breathing while they sleep....

i feel very weak...this week's events plus the cold have taken a toll on my body....i hope tomorrow is much better than today....

PMPS 124

vet is crazy...doesn't want me to give insulin unless he gets to be 270!!! i don't think they know that one can do microdosing....i even mentioned to her via email i could do the microdoses....her reply led me to believe she had no clue what i was talking about....but whatever....he got his insulin...now off to give the pheno....

will report later....thank you for the well wishes...much appreciated...and that Texas soup sure sounds delicious.....thx Tena!...i will call that soup Tena Texas Style Chicken Soup for the Soul!!!!

I hope you can get some rest and take care of yourself so you can continue to care for Rocket.

Just got a chance to catch up on all of Rocket's goings on this week, and you all are in our thoughts and prayers. I hope for your sake that you can get some solid rest soon... I know how quickly my stress magnifies when I'm sleep deprived... could you maybe make some frozen kitty cubes for feeding... at least get a bit more uninterrupted sleep (or maybe keep little bowls in a cooler next to your bed so you can just grab it and get back to your nap?

So sorry it's been such a tough week. Lots of healing vibes coming your way!

Claudia, Hope you will feel better tomorrow--Moonie also likes to eat with me feeding her sometimes. I do it so she will eat..I do know how you feel. I watch her too..
But Rocket has been showing you that he is a little better, we are all still sending healing vines to him & you... tomorrow wil be a better day! Healing Hugs from us.

Yeah!!!! I'm so glad Rocket has shown some improvement today. Hope you, dh, and comet will get better soon. I also appreciate the PM you sent for Whiskers and I the other day, so nice of you to think of others when you have so very much going on yourself. :YMHUG: cat_pet_icon

Take care of yourself, honey. You're due. Such a relief to know that the RocketMan is slowly improving. Now you can concentrate on yourself.

I sounds like Rocket is making steady progress. Please make sure you're taking care of yourself.
